The agreement is set so that each has a baseline standard that they should follow, if you don't or she doesn't then back to court.

If on the other hand you both agree to the baseline but then agree to something else which also works for both of you and more importantly the children then no court will get upset about it.

Think of the agreement as something in place should either of you start heaving like dickheads. That gives a guidance for you both to follow if you cannot set aside the past and focus your attention on your children

You and your ex can agree to anything and as long as you're both good with it nobody else is going to give a shit. But be aware that if you keep the same routine for a while (usually 6 months) it can be considered status quo and if she files to make it permanent then it will probably happen.

Every single parenting agreement should stipulate deviations are permitted if mutually agreed upon. If yours doesn't, your attorney did a shit job.

You need a long distance parenting plan. You get the kids every other holiday, and then 5-ish weeks in the summer. All in all about 20% parenting time. Or move to the same school district where your kids live. As you are finding out, you can't parent your kids long distance.
