I know you’re getting shit for replying at all, but honestly people aren’t perfect machines and I’m sure most of us have sent a few replies to someone we shouldn’t at one point or another.

Yeah, you could have not replied, but I think you handled this really well. Dispassionate, classy, civil, and you shut him down. Considering some people send multi page messages to their exes detailing every wrongdoing or begging for them back, this is queen energy to me. Not saying everyone should compare themselves to the lowest common denominator, just being realistic that not everyone silently blocks every low value message instantly.

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted for saying it but I liked the way you handled this. If it didn’t cause you any extra pain or any regret then it worked for you, even if it’s not how someone else would have handled it.
