Pain can be from both stress OR if your hymen is still in tact. I would encourage you to wait until YOU feel comfortable. As to the stress part, try to relax your mind and really be in the moment.

Personally my first time didn't hurt at all. I was with a partner who I trusted and did foreplay before any penetration happened. Being relaxed, properly aroused from a lot of foreplay and feeling safe will massively reduce the chances of it hurting. Even then it might hurt a little bit but as long as you are relaxed it shouldn't "hurt really bad."

not for everyone but a lot it can feel at least uncomfortable. make sure you are with someone who will respect that they need to take their time. you don't need to learn lol humans have been fucking since the beginning of time it's natural don't let society think you need to watch porn to learn how to have sex like them bc that's not how it is in real life. mine didn't hurt much but i was pretty drunk lol and was kind of 'thats it' and it was anticlimatic until we came out of the dark and the dude has blood all over his shirt lol... so you need to pick someone who is mature enough to deal with this be picky but at the same time we put too much weight on who we lose our virginity to. it is something special but it's not the end of the world and you will most likely have many lovers in your lifetime.
