So there is this shitty trend in my country among highschoolers where there is an ig account for every town - spotted.[nameofthetown]

Teens of both genders take a stalker photo of their crush, send it to the account, say in the dms that it's anonymous or for a friend. Then the account posts that photo and people find and tag the person in the comments, and so the person asking for their name dms him/her.

Okay, wtf is wrong with gen z? Why approaching your crush or asking someone else for their name is so damn hard? Chances are that these people know common people since they live in a small town with a couple of highschools. I'm an early gen z (born in '99) and asking for your crushe's name or telling your common or his friends you like him is the most normal thing, why does this encourage stalking?

Edit: Since this post got kinda popular, I'm sharing a public profile. It's from Croatia and I'm from Serbia but here all thesesaccounts are private and not that popular. Tell me if this is a trend in other coutries. This shit So apparently in Croatia they also post DMs were people are describing the person they saw, like what were they wearing, height, eye and hair color. What's hilarious is that one dude was asking for a girl he already flirted with and she was 'teasing' him and already showed interest but the little baby didn't ask her for her name and ig. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
