I went on a date recently and met a man that hit my checklists. He seemed like a HVM, but my spidey senses were tingly. Something wasn’t right. During the date, he made a LOT of comments about me being attractive. When a man only comments about my looks, it’s sooooo unattractive to me. Maybe it’s just me, but just because you like my lips, it doesn’t mean much to me.

We finished dinner (he paid) and we were walking to a tourist spot (it’s a fancy museum/walking area/mountains) with a lot of people around. Out of nowhere he says “I’m so attracted to you.” And goes in for a (terrible terrible) wet kiss.

Later we went to grab dessert and he asked me where my apartment was. That’s when I knew, M.O.: trying to get laid as quickly as possible. I called the date an end and he told me he wanted a second date and how awesome my personality is.

Next day he text me saying he was still interested but “would let me know since he was tired from yesterday”. 🦗

I called my mom and we had a good laugh.

TLDR: In the words of my mom, if he didn’t die or is isn’t in the hospital, he has no excuse to not text you back. Mixed signals means no. Let this lay to rest and move on.
