This petition can help bring attention to male victims of rape. Currently statistics regarding male rape victims are invalid due to problems relating to this old legal definition. It is difficult for researchers to create an accurate report of the extent of male victimisation, in the few studies where forced to penetrate has been used as a definition, very similar rates of rape victimisation has been found between males and females.

This is very important question, imo- are feminists opposing this?

Notice how I'm not asking "are they supporting it? No, I want to know if feminist groups/politicians are not only ignoring this, but actively fighting against it. I think it's a fair question and any feminist group should have no problem immediately answering with "no" if that's how they feel.

This is the most stupid thing that could happen. Anyone who investigates the rape laws will find it’s no longer fit for purpose and should be scraped in its entirety instead they are reinforcing archaic misandrist laws.
