I've never had a twin, and i haven't looked into it so i don't know about that.
However, parents... I've been betrayed horribly by both. Maybe in a dream world a parent is selfless and only looks for their child's interest. In the real world, parent's also look into their own interests, and if you don't grow up how they want you to be then they can hate you.
You see, the only immortality that exists right now is by imprinting what you can of your DNA, ideas and thoughts into someone else. For the everyday man and women, the only option is children. Children not only carry your physical aspects (eg. DNA) but also carry your beliefs and ideals if you raise them properly.
If a parent see's that their child has been changed, they will consider them corrupted and be more inclined to betray them.
Not saying that you shouldn't trust parents. I think generally, you should. But they can betray you.

I can't make a post for some reason but I need a little support. My girlfriend of two years began criticizing me to her 14 year old son, making him despise me. She then told me that I'm making him despise me by being uncomfortable around him. He's 6'3" 220 lbs. Stares at me with murder in his eyes. He has no father, hangs out with gang members. I found out about her confiding the details of her love life with her 14 yr old and broke up with her. She's now claiming I abused her, lied to her for years, and is claiming I've been soliciting prostitutes. She's best friends with my manager and may hurt my reputation permanently. I could write all day about the good I've done for her, including curing a long term severe chronic vomiting disease, canceling her debts, and getting her out of her slum life. I though she was a NAWALT.

She knows I'm good with legal stuff, so I think she is reigning this in a bit. I only became mgtow two years ago. There was still some blue pill residue in my system. At least I was wise enough to refuse her many offers for me to move in. I saw how my mind played tricks on me and made me think she "wasn't like that," and I won't be fooled again. Sex isn't worth the risk.
