Was just in a bar, hanging out with some friends and talking to acquaintances. Blonde, few years younger than me (35), is being harassed by an older gentleman, about 60. He's doing the usual peacocking, dancing etc etc. She looks over to me to be her Captain Save-A-Ho. I stand, laugh at what I'm seeing and carry on with my conversation.

After about 5 minutes, she approaches me.

"What makes you think you're so much better than everyone!? You're standing there, dressed like that, nobody is around you, yet you think you're better than everybody!"

"I don't. I was talking to friends. Now, if you're hurt and upset because I didn't jump in and save you from that guy dancing around you, then you need to understand that I'm not with you. I don't know you. You're a grown woman, in a supervised bar, with a friend. You can look after yourself, I don't need to do that for you. If you've inferred that I should jump in and 'rescue' you, then I have not gained anything from that. I don't need to do that. That doesn't make me better, or worse. It means I recognise I have a value, to myself. Now, I've had enough of here and want to go home. Goodbye."

"Wow! Really?"

No reply, I smile, finish my drink and walk away. That, my Mgtow friends, is the value of going your own way.
