I hate how litigious our society has become, but colleges that deny accused students due process and expel students without proof they’ve committed a violation should be sued and should pay.

I think the problem is with endowments often far exceeding a billion dollars, the settlements reached are a drop in the bucket for such colleges and not sufficient to affect change.

All five of these lawsuits have been before Judge Colin Bruce, who has mostly ruled against such plaintiffs.

Are you sure you're reading that right?

It looks like a single plaintiff, Doe, and there have been multiple filings in that case.

I did a Title ix rundown on this school. When I have the time I need to go back to it with a fresh set of eyes (I stepped away for a bit on this for this reason).

I found hundreds of violations spanning decades, including the school using them in advertising materials. They were promoting a professor that had sex quotas in their labs and groups for example.

Perhaps with this hitting the news and this weekend free, its time to update and edit this banger of a complaint. It's something like 50 pages already.....
