The incredible irony of saying you only want daughters because of "toxic masculinity" or because "boys are trouble." In other words, you are saying these things not only exist, but are innate, blatant misandry.

This is a sign of a potentially future bad parent imho. Kids need parents who will be a parent and do the uncomfortable things like discipline and saying "no". Parents who try to be their kids' best friend end up spoiling them and turning them into brats way too often. And when the kid turns into a teen they're going to want to distance themselves from you no matter what you do in order to try to figure out their own identity. I have two teens myself.

I mean… IDK what to say to the Himalayan levels of sexism in this article. The most astounding part is how it's just normalized, like they will say the most blatantly sexist things in a casual, offhand manner. We've raised a whole generation of pathological narcissists lacking any self-awareness or insight. Because trying to exert this level of control over your child means that the child is basically an object that you want to fulfill your needs. Deciding on your child's sex like that is like deciding on your new car's color, the child becomes a simple addition to life, a gadget, a toy, whose purpose is to satisfy the woman-child's needs and ambitions.

They are not stopping at IVF: They have signed with a surrogacy agency and are waiting to get matched with the woman who will carry and birth their elder child, buying them more time to rave, travel, and “self-actualize” without worrying about a pregnancy.

I find this part a lot more angering than the fact that they want only daughters.
