Way cool OP. I think watching for, and pouncing on, moments like this are the bread and butter of civil rights movements. Its about raising awareness, and calling people on their unexamined assumptions.

Our further progress depends on an army of people policing slurs against men in public. r/MR is the training ground for that army.
