Well folks, to those who told me over and over that TYT would never listen, consider yourself proven wrong. Cenk interviewed Karen Straughan here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7kqqywey7g

I think many MRA's will disagree with Cenk, but I hope we can get beyond that. IMO, this is a HUGE step in the right direction with the progressives. I believe the Left prioritizes social issues much more than the Right, and I think many men's rights issues are actually very close to what the Left already believes in.

I hope MRA's that fall more on the Right realize that there are different audiences, and providing issues in different ways so more people will be likely to accept them is a good thing. And while those on the Right might disagree with what Cenk says or how he goes about things, his audience is much more willing to accept men's issues coming from him than coming from Rightist MRA's.

I hope MRA's recognize when a step is being taken. Dialogue is a step, and that's what TYT has offered to us. I hope we can appreciate that, especially because it's extremely politically courageous of him to do so. Cenk even conceded that we have good points on family court issues, and they mentioned that there may be more interviews with Karen in the future.

Overall, I'm giving The Young Turks a big thumbs up. I know that many on here will not agree with Cenk, but I hope you respect the fact that they are opening up to dialogue, and recognize that for what it is: Real progress. We have winning issues because the facts are on our side, and maybe TYT is starting to recognize that. I wouldn't be surprised if they even incorporated a few.
