Feminism is getting pushback because more women are realizing that the toxicity of Feminism is scaring men away from being women's unquestioning workhorses.

I think it's more of a splintering. Some feminists have gone to such extremes that it's a turn-off for other feminists or would-be feminists. Some feminists are immune to any feeling of discomfort from, or awareness of, cognitive dissonance. They wilfully proclaim that women are independent of, or superior to men; don't need men, don't want men - and then later claim that women need preferential treatment in things like military draft, spousal maintenance/alimony, employment law and custody battles.
Most people, regardless of their gender or politics, are more reasonable. They see the double-standard and they're smart enough to know you can't have it both ways.
They haven't considered the foaming-at-the-mouth raging loons to be representative of feminism. They sigh with a mixture of fatigue and depression when they see somebody calling for due process to be abandoned for crimes of which only males can legally be recognised as the perpetrators.
Eventually, the extreme end of feminism has gotten far more publicity than the more egalitarian and moderate side.
As this has happened, fewer would-be feminists have identified with what they see as the "castrate all men" movement. Only the lunatics have signed on for the next wave. The "call me Ms" and "eqality of pay, equality of opportunity" feminists of the 90s are a very different breed to the Tumblrinas of today. The ideals of the feminist movement of the past are not being pushed back against. It's this new breed, who demand equality where it suits them and eschew responsibility where it doesn't, that are being pushed back against.
The problem is that both sects think they are the true feminists. The rabid feminists are giving the egalitarians a bad name. The moderates don't go far enough and are little better than enslaved lap-dogs, etc, et cetera.

There is a pretty loud anti feminazi sentiment on twitter. And the great thing is that these people tweet out their disgust under the #feminism #feminist tags.
