No, its not rape. If he consented, it can't be rape.

It may still be illegal. It may still be immoral or unethical, but it isn't rape. To equate it such it so assume that a free and willing agent of sexual contact is identical to someone who's been tortured by captivity, drugging, threats of or actual use of violence, into a sex act they hated and feel damaged by immediately after.

That's kind of a shit thing to do to real victims of rape, to say their trauma is no worse than a willing act.

In this link I provide references to laws in other states wherein a 17 year old having sex with a 14 year old boyfriend or girlfriend is violating statutory rape and could get 40 years for a male, and 9 months for a female. It also says that if two people are 14, they are both criminals, although we know for a fact the male will be solely charged in most cases.

Its because we view the male as the sexual aggressor damaging the female, similar to how we view adult as sexual aggressor damaging the 'child' (which is really the person who is underage, but is NOT a child in any biological or psychological sense, and is NOT prepubescent which is the acid test for pedophilia).

You'll note that when they want age of consent raised to 'protect girls', it comes from the idea that female sexuality is both highly valuable and also highly at risk, whereas male sexuality is neither valuable nor at risk, which is why it wasn't until THE 1970's that the age of consent laws were made gender neutral. Women did not consider "underage boys" victims, and men didn't either.

The entire point of these laws is considering one individual the 'primary aggressor' of sex, and the other the 'victim' so it falls perfectly in-line with feminist ideology of sex being a power struggle, and males abusing females. Rather than it being a cooperative event where two people get themselves off through each other, its a form of combat.

If its like a form of combat, then the idea that we should only allow people to "punch across" to those who are of "equal skill level" makes sense.

They would, but rape is actually harmful and clearly the writers don't think a 40 year old women could do anything to hurt a 15 year old boy. Besides, he probably enjoyed it, in their thinking, and was lucky to have the experience. Where's the harm in that?
