Definitely the push for workplace "diversity" through targeted female hires. I work in STEM and we're majority male. My employer is on a diversity kick and promotes it at every company meeting.

Can't we just hire the best fit for the job and let the chips fall where they may?

Baselining - or the lack of. I am absolutely sick of hearing numbers to prove how bad any particular group has it, that don't present the general population data for comparison/context for the same metric, measured the same way. Or in the case of sex/gender topics: presenting a number for women without also presenting the equivalent number for men.

I probably hate the most when feminists hide their feminist credentials and pretend that they're just random people caring for women, for example in articles about prostitution or human trafficking. They write the most outrageous anti-male bullshit and the readers just nod and recite misandric stereotypes like how all men are probable rapists - except for themselves, of course, because they're the exceptionally enlightened ones who protect and serve women.

My biggest gripe is the absolute hypocrisy when it comes to reproductive choice.

Now I consider myself to be someone who is ideally pro choice and if all other things were equal I'd definitely vote for a pro choice politician over one who wasn't, but every time a feminist opens his or her mouth about this issue I am reminded why this particular issue is at the very bottom of my concerns.

I hear talking points now; not just asking for the right to abortion, but the "right" to have all reproductive and birth control services paid for by the taxpayer. Any failure to provide these services free of charge is cited as evidence that we live in a patriarchy run by men who either will not or cannot understand how hard it is for women to be denied these services.

Now keep in mind that the overwhelming majority of these funds would come from the overwhelming majority of taxpayers: Men. Men who have no right to reproductive freedom whatsoever. Men who are the people feminists claim can't understand what a lack of control over one's own decision to become a parent is like. It makes you wonder if they've ever actually bothered to ask an actual man what his opinion is.

If any particular man voices displeasure at being forced to provide for a child he did not want in the first place, the overwhelming majority of feminists will scream like trad-con harpies, using the very slogans and talking points of their opponents who they were likely denouncing mere moments earlier.

The hypocrisy is astounding.

So while I may remain philosophically pro-choice, my stance now is: If a complete lack of reproductive rights is good enough for me, then it's good enough for you too. Stop whining.

There is no female “hive mind” or special sisterhood which unites all these women in a way that men are lacking in whatsoever. I’ve heard many times, even on this very subreddit, that men lack a unified voice of reason or don’t naturally form a hive mind the way women do. Men can be a team and share brotherhood no doubt.

What women have, or are subjected to like the rest of us, what unites them is over a century of incredibly wealthy individuals profiting from female propaganda. Look at the check out lines at the grocery store. Think any of those trashy mags are targeted towards men? Okay, yes a few definitely are in fact. But think about Cosmo, Vogue, Home and Gardens, etc. Or take Oprah, the stay-at-home Mom tele-service full of preachy self loving entitlement training. Things like that - the list goes on. It’s effective. It’s everywhere. And it’s been happening for a very long time.

Is it maybe because women own 80% of all purchasing power? Is this why they are so targeted by these media conglomerates?

NPR is at least as bad in the States, just one anti-male statement after another. I don’t know how the male hosts put up with it. They all sound totally subjugated. I have no problem working with women; I just don’t want to be one of them.

Predating that constant man-hating barrage was the one that began in my family of origin, a constant stream of contempt from female family members toward the males, leading the males to live in a depleted state, unable to help themselves or each other.

It was a few months before the #metoo maelstrom began that I noticed an uptick in anti-male comments unlike even this intolerable state of affairs. They just seemed to be coming from everywhere all the time. It felt like something out of a sci-fi movie to me, too — “Invasion of the Body Snatchers,” maybe.

I grew up in a left-wing family, too. My dad served under three Democratic presidents. I feel like #metoo has pushed me closer to the center, though I feel like I was headed in that direction, anyway.

Toxic Masculinity, Mansplaining, and manspreading. All three come off as supremely intrusive and demeaning. I don't mind working with women, but if women come into work trying to be mothers to the men or using relational aggression. I will evade them like the plague.

Movies, games, government programs and in no time anime will fall as well, life sucked as a man even before the modern feminist revolution but at least we had a ton of shit mostly targeted for us to make our existences more bearable, not anymore, on top of that affirmative action laws are making men lose jobs to women less prepared than them
