I saw the story on this and it was...surprising. But basically one woman tried to get rid of this, using threats and encouraging her husband and father to go to bat for her and do the same.

I see there's a bit of discussion about the topic of GMV. I wrote an article on it a few years ago. At that time I was still referring to it as a hypothesis. I don't do that anymore.
