I read the article, but I'm still not seeing how this is about rape. Because he offered drinks? Him wanting her to stay? To me the context is a couple enjoying time together. But, she has to head home. As they aren't married yet. They both want to stay there together. So they are kinda looking for any excuse on why they have to stay there and spend time with each other.

If the only tool you have is a hammer, everything starts looking like nails. It seems like rape has come to mean almost anything.

By the same litmus they would need to ban most classic rock, gangsta rap, 80’s metal and at least a third of old country. Which is probably their ultimate goal anyway...
