If I'm not mistaken, this post unknowingly highlights the value of men, fathers, and father figures. Having to play a role of both father and mother is difficult because when the father is absent, the benefits of having had that father around become clear. To both the former SO as well as the kids.

I have absolutely no problem with this. If children with a single parent want to thank their only parent for doing the job that their missing parent did not have the balls to do, then go for it. This isn't like the "IT'S fatHER's DAY" bullshit.. This is more of a.. "fuck absentee dads, and big ups to single moms." type message.. which works both ways. It is odd tho.. because I am pretty sure Tory Lanez's mother died when he was young, and for a time, before his father remarried, he was raised by him alone.. so if anything, he should be grateful for his father during father's day.
