I think the most important thing we need to focus on is finding out who wrote the articles. From what I have been told, they were commissioned from an outside source, and thus were not written by an actual employee of the SPLC.

Finding out who wrote it, and their vested interest, would be critical to undermining the legitimacy of the claims.

I'm inclined to believe the allegations were true. If they were false, he'd likely be more sympathetic to the MRM.

It's usually sociopaths who are drawn to movements that excuse their behaviour as 'the patriarchy's fault.'

Women are attracted to assholes/jerks/general criminal types the same way women are attracted to politicians, or musicians, or several other groups of people.

These are groups of people that are celebrated within our culture, who are confident, to a fault, and who, if successful, defy social norm (very big in our society) and reap huge rewards. Genetically motivated hypergamous behaviour. Etc.

Er, not so sure the MRA movement wants to put themselves in a position where their leaders can also be criticized for very bad and criminal behavior, esp. towards family, women and children, and advocating incest/pedophilia.

It's fallacious to use this tactic. And somewhat dangerous if anyone is worried about being hypocritical. I'm not sure MRAs are in any position to be screeching about the sort of company that people keep, considering how many MRAs want to keep women from having the vote or lowering the age of consent to 12+.

I'm in favor of an inclusive mobement, but not outright hypocrisy about it.
