I was not going to post about this but I thought this would be a good example of taking an idealism too far.

So I posted a few thoughts about feminism recently, in an attempt to show how the idealism seems weird today. Now it was just a post to get people to ponder how the idealism is being taken to the extreme now.

One thought experiment in my post, was like if men got together and started demanding things or no babies. Like men holding back sperm. My sperm, my baby. Just to show how things are. Whatever.

So it turns out that some got real mad about this post, then decided to follow me and downvote anything that I post about even if it has nothing to do with feminism. Sigh. Ok fine. Now here is where it gets sad. Like I posted in the chronic pain sub about sugar and pain. How it brings on the pain and this could be very helpful, very very helpful. People may not know this. Right? Like the post gained traction and people are finding out this important data. Sugar causes much unneeded pain.

Well. The post about sugar is getting downvoted, this potentially important post about sugar and chronic pain, and someone decided to make my post about feminism by responding suggesting my chronic pain is because I am filled with "Misogyny". The post I made with the thought experiment was given as "proof". This is getting upvotes in a chronic pain sub. So there are people who seem happy I have chronic pain, telling me it is because I have "misogyny", and gloating about it.

Is this feminism today?

So I realized this is not the first time that supporters of feminism have invaded my posts. Some have outright called for me to jump off bridges and such. Using my chronic pain for insults and mental injury. Saying I should just off myself and such. Reporting and deleting them until they run out of steam is the best approach. I will say that these people seem not to care for others, just this ideology that demands some kind of war. No getting along, no compassion, just outright hatred and disgust for another human being based on gender.

It's not a good free speech site if one has to make throwaway accounts to speak ones mind. Cause one group is abusing the system and hating on a specific gender.

It would be wild if Musk thought of buying reddit or something.

Lets keep trying to get along even with all this negativity. I believe in free speech and this is one component of such a beast. I am not against women, just the current feminist ideology. Men and women are different but together they are equal.
