This is a pretty good article, considering the source. Unfortunately they tried to blame it on "male gender roles" rather than the mate selection process and how absurd the mate selection process has become for a lot of men due to affirmative action, quotas, wealth redistribution etc and how this affects the whole process. If you got rid of men's "gender roles," then women still wouldn't pick the average nerd to have sexual relations with. Psychology today is pretty PC after the Satoshi Kanazawa incident and all, so these kinds of misrepresentations are to be expected I suppose.

Speaking of Satoshi Kanazawa, he wrote this piece: Why the Death Penalty and the DNA Technology Do Not Deter Murderers and Rapists, which really explains what the article author was trying to but without the political correctness shoehorned in.

Maybe we should really look at what behavior men are being REWARDED for by respect and sex, rather than simply the behavior they are EXPECTED to perform out of social duty.

It's this thought that drives men to the pick-up artist community. The wrong behaviors are rewarded in the wild and they picked up on a few of these.

Initially, James Holmes did everything right that society told him to do. He was a "good guy". He was smart, ambitious, motivated. He had a good life ahead of him. In years past, that would have made him very desirable to women. In today's world, however, it didn't get him very far... Today, it made him a loner and a nerd, with no social skills and no dating prospects.

Unfortunately, yet another way feminism destroys society. When women are free to choose mates as they desire, they choose men who "excite" them rather than men who are good providers. As women reward men who contribute little to society and advancement rather than those men who do, fewer men will achieve and more men will be the undesirable ones.
