Hi everyone. You may have bumped into me knocking around PPD in the last few days. I been having loads of fun in comments. Thought a post might help sort a few things out. [Mods, can I get a debate flair ? EDIT: Ask BP is fine. RP guys, think that means second level comments only. Keep the rules. Happy to chat there.]

Here's my situation.

Plugged in 20 years an adult. 14 years with wife (only last 6 or so married). 9 months unplugged for me, 2 months unplugged for her. We got 2 rugrats.

Yup, I unplugged my wife.

Not even a soft unplugging ... "What's this red pill site ?"... "Just a relationship site honey, I'm improving our marriage"... "Ah, ok".

Nope. Full on "Here are two pills pick" followed by "Cool, ripping out the plugs now. Welcome to Zion. This is our ship. You are now the tail gunner" type unplugging. I didn't want to create an unplugged civilian, I wanted a tail gunner.

She's read MMSLP, the Book or Pook, some of TSGM, the whole RPW sidebar, countless posts and comments on TRP, MRP, RPW, fPUA and all sorts of RP blogs. She's read everything I ever had to say to other guys on RP too. Both my pre-unplugging her material and the post-RP day material. Her theory chops are quite good. As are her insights into other people's situations. She runs female cocky/funny game. Pretty good at it too. Just not as good as me.

One day she's going to make an awesome RP poster. She's already had a stab at some Red Knighting over at DB (Red lady-ing ? Red Shield-Maidening ?), but doesn't want to get all that engaged. She has an account. If /u/TheGreasyHole turns up, that's her. Couldn't resist the uname, that's one hell of a good gag. Couldn't let it slip by unused.

In our nomenculture she isn't a noob anymore. Isn't really a beginner either. If she was a guy, she'd be one of the properly switched on posters.

So... This is quite an unusual situation... It does kinda make me some sort of TRP heretic, which I'm kinda comfortable with... And RP guys seem to be comfortable with, even if they think it's a little odd.... I have other reasons for being a bit out of the normal demographic range of RP too. I'm not a yank. I'm on the left. I'm middle aged. I've got a quite natural alpha streak that RP brought out, rather than being a 20 year beta who just discovered how to get panties wet. A few other odds and ends like that.

So, intros over, here is my problem...

Posting on PPD creates a really fucking weird situation for me. I get loads of people telling me shit that is laughably untrue. We can both see it (she reads my stuff, as well as any threads she's interested in).

To use a metaphor... It's like being told

Blooper: Rubik's cubes are unsolvable.

TGP: Um, got one on my lap right now. I've solved it 100 times. Look, I'll do it again.... Messed up.... 5 minutes... Ta Da solved.

Blooper: No, you're smashing up the cube like an asshole and putting it together again the way you want it. That's nasty shitlord.

TGP: No, I'm really not. That's not how us RP guys solve Rubik's cubes. Look, I'll do it again... Ta da. No smashing required. You just move this bit like this, that bit like that, solved cube. I've never taken a hammer to a cube in my life. Not even back before I knew how to solve cubes.

Blooper: Well, you've got a broken or damaged cube then. You can't do that with normal cubes.

TGP: You can dude, Rubik's cube solutions work on all cubes. My cube is perfectly normal. I've also solved lots of other cubes that were perfectly normal too.

Blooper: No, this only works on massively damaged cubes. You got some kind of damaged or slutty or stupid cube.

TGP: I really ain't. Hey cube... You damaged ?

Mrs TGP: Only by having this conversation again. Are the bloopers being stupid again ?

TGP: Yeah, sorry Hun. You can't control for fuckwittery.

TGP: Blooper, I know my wife is a perfectly nice normal woman. She's fine. She also wants me to tell you she's fine and why does everyone assume she's some kind of damaged/slutty/brainwashed cube ?

Blooper : Because SHE IS. My X-Ray specs can see into your house ! I know what's going on there ! She is "off" in some way

TGP: Fine get your x Ray specs on. What colour shirt am I wearing.

Blooper: Red, it's got to be red.

TGP: Fuck, it's blue. I don't trust your x-Ray specs no more.

Blooper: But I swear to you they work. If they don't my life is a lie... I'm fucking up bad... Nasty things will happen to me if these X-Ray specs are non-functional

TGP: Shit. Sucks to be you. Hope everything turns out OK.... Look, I have these RP goggles you can borrow seeing as your X-Ray specs are broken...

Blooper: Fuck off and die shitlord.

TGP: Ah, ok. Good luck with those X-Ray specs.

So... My questions for Blue Pill are....

Seeing as I'm sitting here with a solved Rubik's cube on my lap. And the cube is both fully functional and blissfully happy....

How would TBP explain my situation ?

Don't get me wrong. The RP guys have a hell of a time getting their heads around my situation too, but they try to do so.

Isn't this a situation that, given TBPs understanding of RP, is just flat out impossible ?

Is the only possible solution to the conundrum some kind of implication that I'm lying ? (Which I could understand from your end of the screen, but I know is not occurring, everything I said above and elsewhere on ANY RP sub is true).

And, BECAUSE this is going to give us so many belly laughs in our house....

What would you advise my wife to do in order to improve her situation ?

That last one is going to be awesome.
