If what Mark is saying is true, normal blue pill guys should naturally attract sweet, angelic, faithful, wife-material women, because those are the beliefs they bring to dating.

Instead they get friend-zoned, beta buxxed, and/or divorce raped.

Mark Manson to me hits the middle ground between red and blue pill, as well as /r/seduction and /r/theRedPill unbelievably well.

AWALT is a bad assumption for the very reason he points out. Distrusting and fearing women and their games is bad for your own mental health. It also attracts that which you seek to avoid. With women, your expectations greatly influence your outcomes to the point of almost self-fulfilling prophecy. It's possible to not be naive without going to the other extreme of paranoia and insecurity.

I also think the other guy who commented here is a knee-jerker. Mark Manson has incredible value to RedPillers who don't want a chip on their shoulder, and BluePillers who want to come over to the light without having to go full retard.

I have a question, how did you endure the superficial writing of Mason? Whenever something he wrote is linked here I nearly throw up.

The assortment effect is more closely to if you are a promiscuous man you will attract promiscuous women.

I found this passage very interesting because it directly challenges several premises in the Rational Male. This is not the first time that masters of the Manosphere have had opposing views. I've already briefly discussed the clash between Manson's Vulnerability Primer and Rollo Tomassi's essays on Vulnerability AKA 'women are incapable of empathy, she is not your shoulder to cry on'.

Mason talks about owning vulnerability, even people on here agree that there is a way to show it but it's very hard to do. If your girl has a scarcity mentality and is needy then you can be extremely emotional and there is nothing. But if she is a based hot women she will lose much attraction to you.

Actually that's a huge problem, using strategies on the wrong women, negging can't even work on insecure women, compliments don't work on hot secure women.

A: On the emotional level, you attract people on the same emotional level as you are at. If you are needy, you will attract needy women. If you are manipulative, you will attract manipulative women

I call bullshit, that is over simplified and outright wrong. Opposites attract, people of similar attractiveness attract each other but not same character traits.

How does TRP reconcile AWALT with all of this? Were Seddit right on taking the moderate approach all along? Let's hear your views.

AWALT is so obvious and common knowledge that there is no need for an moderate approach.

Sigh This isn't even what AWALT means. To boil it down to the essentials, it attacks the idea of unconditional love.

There is a set of circumstances, unique to each woman (depending on her self-esteem and expectations), under which the woman will leave you, even if you've done nothing overt to hurt her. She loves what you do for/to her, the value you bring to her life, NOT you as a person. If you bring zero or negative value to her life (a condition subject to her perception, not objective fact), the clock is ticking on the relationship, and to prevent this you must change/improve yourself.

I don't see what's so offensive about this.

Manson seems to forget that just because you have a trillion locusts doesn't mean all of them are different. Female brains are, scientifically, more developed for "social communication", and what this really means is that they are far more coordinated and identical in their basic worldview and behavior with every other female, as can be seen by their social circles, their ideologies, their speech and on this very sub as well. On the important things in life, women will almost without exception support each other's point of view, form enormous tight-knit social validation groups with each other almost effortlessly, and will talk similarly especially when it comes to gender and relationship, even if they've never met each other.

Memorize your entire lifetime, think of every minute you spent on this or on the internet in general, how many women have you seen vehemently arguing with each other or embroiled in endless conflict about something, as opposed to Purple, Red, Blue pill men, or men from every side of the coin on any other issue imaginable?

That men have been the ones who were different from each other and often clashed over those differences has been the course of human history. It's actually been hypothesized about intelligence before, with men falling at the extremities, although results are still inconclusive, but I contend that male variability is more pronounced socially.

I repeat, how many women are debating each other on this sub? How many women are actively engaged in discussions or arguments about social behavior in general with each woman presenting a unique position that she will contest with the other woman?

The female hivemind is a fact.

I don't think the views of TRP and Manson conflict here. The vulnerability that Manson and Rollo talk about are different to one another - Manson talks about not fearing putting yourself in vulnerable situations, such as asking a girl out (i.e. confidence), where as Rollo talks about not coming to your girl for emotional support.

Manson's idea of shit tests logically leads to projecting the image of being unphased by shit tests, which is what TRP also advocates.

The only thing I disagree with is this:

If you are needy, you will attract needy women. If you are manipulative, you will attract manipulative women.

I haven't read the book models and probably won't bother, but what you have mentioned of it Xemnas, probably matches my own experiences with women, much more than anything I have ever read on TRP.
