You don’t understand female nature. What you’re doing is self-sabotage. Yes, breakups are always a risk you take when dating and sure, they are no fun. Relationships are like anything else though - you learn from experience and shutting yourself out of relationships because you might get hurt down the road is like not not going to college because you might fail s class or not applying for a job because you might not get it.

Humans are nature's best accidental murder machines. Society and love are amazing because we're 1 button press way from nuking ourselves into oblivion for banter.

Being loved by someone is amazing because they're foregoing typical human asshattery for your sake and making the conscious decision to be nice to you. Love would feel hollow if humans were mr. and ms. nice pushovers.
