•What is the problem, and what do you think is the root of the issue? My SO drinks every night, by himself, and I can't figure out completely why it bothers me so much. I think he drinks to numb. He's RedPill and applies all aspects of MRP to our relationship, but this seems like the one area he can't get past.

•How have you contributed/attempted to mitigate the problem? I have told him my concerns and that drinking as much as he does alone by himself is not healthy or productive to his life goals, he'll agree, go dry for no more than 3 days and then start again. I have no doubt that in the beginning I had a lot to do with his drinking, but I feel I have cleared by side of the street up. Maybe I need to give him more time to accept that the changes that I have made are real, but I worry he will continue to drink himself mad. I know that it bothers me because I can't control it, he has to decide for himself that its destructive, but its also really unattractive to me. I need advice on how to support him enough so that numbing isn't an everyday occurrence.
