Hi ladies. So, I guess this is an advice post. Recently, I've been feeling down lately thanks to failed relationships with men and my body is worn out from school/trying new meds. To make it specific, I struggled with anxiety and use to take pills for it. I also have pretty shit migraines and tend to feel unbalanced mentally. I feel like I fallen for this lie, that being successful and trying to be the independent cool girl in university, will make me feel better but I feel more crappier about myself. I'm someone who is naturally more homey, and traditional. It just further stresses me out, but it's my responsibilty since I chose to go to uni. For the dating part, I tend to change myself for men because I feel like its the only way to get them to like me. I'll act like the sex kitten or the sweet virginal girl depending on what they want, I mirror their interests. I realize it is only further distorting my self-image and I'm pretending to be someone I'm not.

Tips on dealing with depression and being more authentic? Thank you.
