Yeah, modern feminism pretty much has no other option than to attempt to silence opposing view points. They have very little factual basis for their claims while most of their opponents are armed with peer reviewed research studies that refute their claims. They have no other option but to behave in a childish manner.

Free speech is only advocated by those lacking dominion over discourse and by those that consider the long-term effects of their actions. Feminists dominate discourse and are not long-term thinkers of any note so of course they attack free speech.

Free speech seems to come about when different ideologies are forced to co-exist since no one ideology dominates.

Well at some point if we want to fix what feminism has broken and ensure a better future for both ourselves and our children (both male and female) people are going to have to stick their neck out and protest what feminism has done to society. You do not even need to protest feminism directly just the effects.

This is why I like, support and think we should encourage more groups like CAFE. Feminism did not get to where it was overnight. Look at the hundreds and thousands of charities, non-profits, etc... geared towards helping women. This group was like the first time I heard of anyone making a charity or non-profit to help men.

I think the true value of MRA's is merely making men aware of how broken the system is for them, so they can opt out of the bullshit in today's sexual market place. Once enough men opt out of the system and the "Misandry Bubble" (side-bar) bursts, then we can expect real change.

Karen's videos were my godamm gateway drug to the Red Pill and MGTOW, and I'm just one man among probably many that she has gotten to opt out of a fundamentally broken system.

I think this is a mistaken path to follow. I'm a bit of a conspiracy nut so bear that in mind.

The oligarchs allowed feminism to become a powerful social force because women are easier to control then men. They strike less. They are less charitable, they naturally fall in line to authority figures, and the majority are ambivalent to social injustices that do not affect them. What could be more perfect for governments that balk at concepts like "free speech" and "due process, to name a few.

This very protest is only a tiny example of how speech will be controlled in the future. Not through laws and overt examples but more subtle and insidious ones, where the authorities turn a blind eye to the bad behavior of their feminist attack dogs. There are subjects that are already off the table for political discourse simply because feminists would tear them apart.

Most think that a push for MGTOW/RedPill/Manosphere cultural revolution will shift things back in the other direction.

I think they are wrong.

There are factors in play that could turn the vast majority of men into not just an ignored and dismiss-able class but, into an utterly disposable one. And they will dispose of us, and in great numbers.

The for-profit prison system in the US is growing and manual labor jobs are disappearing at an alarming rate. The US has to do something with all these surplus males as there are not enough jobs to go around. The increase in urbanization and mechanization of the West and East Coasts will mean that many in the Midwest will have to flee to the larger cities for work.

How will they throw so many men in prison? Simple. The War on Drugs/Crime/Poverty/Terrorism will shift and begin to target men in general rather than just certain demographics. Those men who have no use in this new technocratic society (or who may shake up the status quo) will be targeted. Rape Accusations will become as vicious a weapon to men as crack-related mandatory sentencing was to the black community. The government is already pushing for making it easier for women to accuse men in college and influencing how universities handle these cases.

They will bottleneck the ability of men to seek higher education, save those that fall in line. Meth, much like crack, will be allowed to flow into the US to destroy those of lower incomes who couldn't afford college. Low-income jobs, rampant unemployment, no real father figures (thanks to feminism), and you have a recipe for disaster. Look at the African American community.

This is why Marijuana restrictions are being relaxed. The oligarchs couldn't pull this off with such a popular drug and, meth is a much more formidable and feared drug to use. I cannot find any statistics on whether crack use in the US is down or not but if it is, then this would be a logical jump.

The DEA protects the Sinaloa Cartel and allows their drugs to enter the US (in Chicago of all places). This cartel brings in almost 80% of the US' meth. Even after the recent outbreaks of violence in Mexico, when the dust settled, the US' cartel was the one left in a position of power.

The same institutions that let crack flood the streets of the US are the same ones that will institute this new policy. They already have plenty of practice at destroying communities.

And if you think that women might fall into this net, think again. The Pussy Pass is NOT an accident. It's being done to encourage the sociopathic nature of women. When women read articles about men being tortured, murdered, and abused by men, they realize that they can get away with just about anything and will seek to exercise that power.

The politicians that ramp up these policies will not be vilified, but lauded as heroes for cleaning up the streets. In a female dominated electorate, there will be no sympathy for these men whose only crime is trying to escape their destitution. They will push the fear machine to depict these victims as tweaked out psychos hell bent on crime. The police will continue to have their bloated budgets justified (along with drug seizures). The for-profit prison industry won't be able to open new facilities fast enough.

If these men cannot adapt and join this new, feminized society, the oligarchs will find a way to profit from them. These prisons will make Attica look like a dream resort.

As for the Manosphere, I think that it will be hijacked. Not by feminists, but by hard-right political radicals. The conservative electorate will have no choice but to adopt these radicals for votes since they have driven themselves damn near into irrelevancy. Even if the Misandry Bubble pops, we may end up with a government that closely resembles the paranoid fantasies of "patriarchy" the feminists talked about.

The men who take over after feminism crumbles will not just be angry, they will be unabashedly and totally pissed off.

At least, that's just a conspiracy theory.

tl;dr Thinking that ending feminism will lead to change in this country is like hoping that changing a broken light-bulb will turn your power back on.

MRAs don't seem to get that the only way to win this gamble is to pick up your chips, cash out, and walk out of the casino. I see this mistake a lot. Free speech has always had conditions. I don't have any idea about Canadian limits but in the US they are as follows:

"clear and present danger", "fighting words", "libel and slander", "obscenity", "conflict with other legitimate social or governmental interests" (mostly applies to wartime restrictions), and "time, place, and manner".

In addition there is no law that allows you to speak freely on private property for any reason. The owner of property and their delegates may set limits on behavior as conditions for being allowed on the premises. If those limits are not followed then the perpetrator is then guilty of trespassing. This probably explains what happened to your friend.

While your free speech argument really doesn't make sense here it's still pretty weird to me to fine the victim of harassment for being harassed.

It's the media's fault. They love to make things out to be freedom of speech violations that really aren't so that they have more power to snoop around. Cop tells you to get out of an active crime scene: free speech violation! Corporation has you arrested for screwing around trying to get a peek at their animal testing facility: free speech is under attack! Actual violations like cops telling you that you can't record from a public location or certain religious icons getting preference on government owned land are then more easily swept under the rug.

They obviously don't understand that the biggest obstacle to free speech and an informed public is themselves and the way they sensationalize and falsify everything to get people to watch their show.
