People come on here because nobody is ever done learning. The older members teach the younger members with stories and experiences, not the other way around. I also come on here, because it is nice to know that I can relate to 85,000 others.

This place is one of the LAST male spaces online where guys can feel free to talk about things without women or white knights getting their panties twisted in a bunch. This is the locker room where we can talk shop. This is the Old Boy's Club where we can embrace our manliness and talk about things that other subs would ban us for even mentioning. This is an important place where men can get useful real-world advice from other men who will give it to them straight.

No worries, we have all been there.

I came here to learn in January 2013, having been given my first foggy glimpses of what lay behind the curtain by /r/Mensrights, /u/GirlWritesWhat, and Heartiste. I began inhaling TRP like Pam Ploovey inhales cocaine, and never looked back.

Today, I stay for the community. I can say what I think, I can get no-bullshit answers to questions, I can help other men who aren't as far along in the journey, I can get my argument cut to pieces on occasion when I'm full of shit.

We are men. We talk like men. We think like men. We drive each other to be better men. We tell war stories of our failures, and our successes, and we learn from each other. We acquire the skills we should've been learning 5, 15, or 30 years ago, and we pass them on to those who are coming behind us.

And that's why I stay.

Besides, veteran or no, my journey is just beginning...it's not like I have everything figured out. I expect most "veterans" on here would say the same.

When hot, cheerleader type girls aren't partying or fucking a jock football player they visit two websites; Facebook and Instagram. There are no hot females that browse reddit. The actual hot Gonewild girls (5%) hear about it through their friends then attention whore on that sub and never visit the rest of the site.

When guys from here 'make it' they either never return or pop in every few months. They are too busy actually living their lives like those hot cheerleaders. Plus theredpill has gone to shit since the early days so there is zero point being here if your life is progressing and you already know the basics of redpill.

If you're aiming for having 10 plates spinning, that is no joke dude, that's a full time job. I heard of mega players who are able to juggle it, but for me, I noticed whenever I exceed about 5 women at any single time, I start going crazybasket fast.

Teaching as activity isn't solely the altruism of "giving a little something back" to the fellow man. It is its own kind of learning, a lot of the time we teach what we still have to learn & think through (in a deeper way) ourselves.

I come here because I have an interest in gender dynamics with a focus on the male side. Only "gender studies" class I ever took was really a history class focused on what it meant to be a man. I know, what a waste. This side of things is more interesting to me than the female side, probably because I have a dick. This red pill stuff and the culture surrounding it is shaping up to be a big part of where we head culturally and I want to watch it.

Being able to evaluate the message independent of the messenger is one of the biggest advantages of the internet.

Spaces which promote adversity, rational discussion and anonymous speech are necessary for self-actualization.

Writing isn't just pure "out" or "giving" or sharing - your thoughts are refined as you write them out to receive input and further adjust your assumptions about reality and how things work - different perspectives are useful.

When I come here and open the front page, most of the time it's filled with FRs, MRA shit, reminders of why you should lift, fix yourself, improve with no specific details and other inspirational crap that's completely worthless.

My brain glazes over all this garbage and zooms in on posts that help me improve myself and my life. Those posts are few and far in between, but 1-2 hours of lurking TRP to gain a really good idea you end up using is worthwhile.

TRP is just a collective fake it 'till you make it / believe your own bullshit mindfuck for most subscribers.

It's like going to school for me. You reinforce what you have learned, share any new knowledge you have, and learn more from the people around you.

And you make a point, the lessons you learn here are useless until you go out and apply them. The process is cyclical though. Read, internalize, apply, contribute, repeat.

I come here to find certain posts that can give me a extra boost. Meaning, something that is looked at with a different angle and causes me to question my philosophy.

Because, at a certain point it starts to become a repeat of the next.

1)Women are evil

2)Some men are still stuck in the blue pill world. Here are examples

3)Motivational posts

4)More game advice

5)Articles about how silly, sensitive, and overall just plain pussy the world has become

6)Feminists

Etc, etc, etc.

After awhile once you really digest the pill you start to have a deeper understanding about the work and look to seek more than just women.

That what the red pill has done for me. It has helped me see that women are not the end all be all. So, when I come on here nowadays I start to either look for that one post that sparks something different, or, stories. I enjoy stories because its in the moment and it gives great examples about how we men are not crazy and shows the truth for what it is.

But yes I get where you are coming from. I use to come in here and read EVERYTHING. Same thing with Return of Kings and other websites. But now, I take my time and try to find posts that speak something new and deeper about life and the bigger game than just worrying about women.

I come on here because it's nice to hear about all the fucking morons who go through life with a big smile on their face, being cheated on and hurt, pretending everything is alright. It's not alright. Optimistic, soft, feel good people make me sick. The world is do unfathomable corrupt and people just flat out refuse to see it because they can't deny their own specialness and uniqueness.
