I was hanging out with some friends and we watched "The Night Before". If you haven't seen it it's about 3 friends that are about 35 realizing they are getting older, and deciding to uphold their tradition of partying on Christmas Eve one last time before they move on with their adult lives. Pretty good movie, hilarious if you like Seth Rogen's movies.

Anyway, there's a scene where one of the characters does this grand romantic gesture/proposal to his EX-girlfriend in front of an entire crowd. She accepts in front of the crowd but turns him down in private to save face. It was SUPER CRINGEY. The crazy part is, at the end of the movie they end up together!

We started discussing how ridiculous the whole thing was, how it would never happen that way in real life. But the biggest surprise to me was when one of my more "alpha" friends admitted he used to do that type of shit in college. I seriously didn't believe him. He was like the natural Chad of our group but he briefly spoke about how much he struggled with women until just a few years ago (we're all around 25).

I've read here on TRP that women want Natural Alphas. Guys who "just get it" and always have. I'm assuming this means guys that hit the ground running with girls as soon as they enter puberty. But this guy in our group, who I thought was a natural Chad, didn't start running until almost a decade later. It's not like the delay has hurt his game either- girls LOVE him.

This guy is railing 9's who think they're getting fucked by some sex god but a few years ago they would have put him into the BetaBux category.

My question is- what's the difference between a "natural" alpha and one who just learns over time? We're all here on TRP because we aren't "natural" alphas and had to unplug from the Feminine Imperative Matrix to properly develop ourselves. What's the point of trying to suppress masculinity and game in guys who may just be late bloomers with latent Chadness?
