I've had some female "bros", but only one of which I stayed bros with while we both went in and out of different relationships. It is possible. The chick has to be unbelievably cool though, because most will stop talking to you once they get into a relationship.

I don't see why the situation has to be either/or, bro or plate when there's plenty of room in in between. Take what you know about people and relationships and use it. TRP is a sexual strategy, sure, but the info extends to non sexual interactions as well.

Yes your friend is (more or less) solipsistic, hypergamous, and operates under the AF/BB model of sexuality but you already knew that. What is your point? You can be friends with whoever you damn well want to be friends with. It is just that most guys with experience on TRP know if there is ANY sexual attraction then it's not a friendship- and most likely an exploitive "friendship" with the girl having all the power and amusing herself by frustrating and stringing along her "Friend."

TRP has little to say about the situation where there's no sexual attraction and you just enjoy each other's company except one little thing- remember she isn't one of the bro's. She can certainly be like a sister and yes, even a friend. No worries.

As a general rule women suck at being friends.

Most male friendship is unconditional. Even if you don't talk them for years they still are your friends. They don't require relationship maintenance, and expect nothing in return apart from your company.

Women are not like that. Women break up with friends over the most stupid things, take sides whomever they feel like to and get into fights for nothing. Have that in mind when you make a woman friend.

Some women will sell themselves as the bro or the tomboy really well. Then 4 months down the road they are dating one of your other bros. Now, would you have to deal with that awkward shit if you found a REAL bro? Girls gain access to social spheres through men they see as betas this way in search of alphas. They can't do it through other girls because other girls are on the lookout for this behavior, trying to hold down the alphas for themselves.

It is permissable for a man and woman to be friends when there is no risk of temptation leading to Zina. Speak to her like you would any other person, male or female, without flirting, inappropriate touching or discussing sexual things.

All humans have equal dignity in the eyes of Allah. You need only take precautions and special rules when dealing with sisters when there is a risk of temptation.
