We go out Sunday and she gives me the “we should just be friends speech”. This after showing me a shit ton of IOIs while we worked together (she left the company) and when we went out drinking before that day. I say I’m not interesting in being friends with her since I have enough and I want to be closer than that with her.

She has a “BF” (Schrodingers Boyfriend) she’s known for 10 years and been off and on with for 6-7. She talked so much shit about him while latching onto me more recently so I thought she was ready to bounce. I didn’t escalate at the time because she was still at the same company as me.

At the end of the night I basically told her good luck and insinuated that I wasn’t going to talk to her again. She had a look of “yeah right” on her face lol

Spoke with a female friend today and she told me that I should let her know why I don’t want to hang out with her and that I shouldn’t just no contact. She says if I tell her the reasons why I don’t want to and follow it with a “we’re still cool though” then that will have her wondering why I’m not chasing. I feel like going NC would make her question why I'm not speaking more.

I still have her on Instagram. Should I block or just leave it?

She’s not the only girl I’m talking to but not gonna lie, I did catch the feels for her when I know I should not have. Rule #1 was broken lol
