TL;DR: What's the difference between a shit test and straight up disrespect?

Body:

Had a FWB over the holidays that lasted about a month. Caught oneitis, over invested, and you know how the story ends.

One area that I know I need to improve is recognizing and handling shit tests. I'd appreciate it if the community would help me figure out how I can recognize them better and how to plow through them.

This chick shit tested me constantly, or at least I think they were shit tests. My question is, where is the line between shit tests and straight up disrespect? Or are they one and the same and the whole point is to test one's frame?

Here are some examples where I failed miserably:

  • We'd be at a bar or on a couch at a brewery, I'd touch her on the shoulder or the thigh to escalate kino, and she would mirror my actions back at me - not in a funny playful way, but instead more of an exaggerated, I'm gonna show you how ridiculous your mannerisms are to me way.
  • One time she interrupted me while I was talking in order to point out that I went off on a tangent and took too long to get to the point. This is a flaw that I was already aware of and I know I need to work on it.
  • Back at her place, while she was denying me sex putting up LMR, she sniffed my neck and commented, "you smell funny." I proceeded to be like "I do? What does it smell like? I just washed my face, I don't know why it smells weird."
  • The next morning, I poured myself a second bowl of cereal for breakfast. "That's not healthy for you." I totally entered her frame and responded with something like "Oh, it's not that bad."

At the time when these happened, I had no idea how to respond, so I shrugged them off.

Can anyone help me internalize when a girl is just giving me some friendly competition versus legitimately putting me down? I know the answer to a lot of things is "move on and game other women," but knowing some examples from other people's experience would really help me handle myself better next time. Thanks.
