One of my favorite books when it comes to intersexual dynamics is The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene. It is one of those books so obviously useful that everyone from oldschool PUAs like Mystery and Neil Strauss to RP godfather Rollo Tomassi make reference to it.

Yet, for whatever reason, the sort of seduction advocated for in this book is utterly ignored by the RP community. Virtually every RP piece of advice when it comes to seducing a specific woman, or even Game in general, essentially takes a shotgun, quality > quantity approach. I feel like this entire approach is tailor-made to create shallow, ultimately pointless relationships with women. I've read about plate theory, LTRs, etc and understand the standard RP approach to relationships, but I find it... boring. What's the point of creating these shallow, meaningless, solely animalistic relationships with women?

Why does the RP community seemingly completely ignore the Art of Seduction, and the countless pieces of literature that preceded it with similarly diverse approaches to seduction? It's like the entire RP community believes that there is only one valid approach to seduction, and all else is to be ignored

Edit: This question isn't only in reference to The Art of Seduction, but also to Kierkegaard's Seducer's Diary, Cassanova's memoirs, and countless other pieces of literature written on the subject of seduction. It feels a lot like the RP community ignores virtually every approach to seduction other than "be overwhelmingly masculine and brutish."
