So after about a week or 2 of tearing through several books*, I finally decided to put some stuff to the test. It should be noted, that a week before all this happened, I had set out to smile at people a lot, talk to people a lot, and so I was feeling really good about myself. I a had always gotten a positive reaction from everyone that I interacted with and I was very encouraged to keep it going.

Preface

I've known this girl(we'll refer to as K from now on) since middle school. We were in the same group of friends and saw each other maybe like once or twice during high school. She now goes to school in the East Coast, while I go to school in Los Angeles. I haven't seen here in about 3 or 4 years, but we send each other texts maybe once every couple of months, just to exchange a couple words and what not. I knew she was coming back to LA for winter break, so I decided this was the perfect chance for me.

Monday

I send her a text after I get off of work. As I said before, I feel good about myself in every way, and decide to hit her up because why the fuck not. The worst that can happen is she says no. Big whoop.

Me: You. Me. Saturday.

K: I'm gonna spend Saturday with my cousins. I'll let you know though.

Wednesday

I'm at home, playing video games when I get a text.

K: Hey, I'm free Saturday. What do you want to do?

Me: We're going on an adventure.

K: Haha okay. You'll have to pick me up though.

Me: Not a problem.

K: Mkay talk to you then.

Friday

As I get off of work, she sends me a text message.

K: So what time are you picking me up tomorrow?

Me: 12pm. Dress warm and be ready to have some fun.

K: Cool. Anything else I should know?

At this point, I'm thinking of whether or not I should "Knock Her Off the Fence." After contemplating for about 5 minutes, I decided I really gave no fucks.

Me: Yeah. I just might kiss you tomorrow.

After what seemed like an eternity, she responds.

K: You're joking right?

So now I'm feeling like this backfired on me...

...but I still gave no fucks and decided to keep her wondering.

Me: Haha. I'll see you tomorrow.

K: Fine.

Saturday

I pick her up. I can tell she's a tiny bit tense/nervous so on the way to the Queen Mary in Long Beach, we start talking about what's going on with each others' lives right now and how school was treating us. We start sharing stories of when we got drunk at parties and I have her laughing and feeling more comfortable and starts opening up a bit more, so I'm feeling really good. Throughout this time, I'm feeling confident, I'm smiling, I'm laughing, and I'm being myself.

We get to the Queen Mary, pay for tickets, and start walking around the cruise ship, seeing historical items and shit. We're teasing each other a lot and having fun. When we get to the ship's deck, we sit down and start talking about middle school and remembering all of our other friends that we longer talked to. After a couple hours, we get hungry and head to Downtown Long Beach to grab a bite. We eat at a Johnny Rockets and more talk and talk. Once we're done, we go to my place.

At my place, we go to my room. I have a desk in my room with a chair, so I decide to take the chair and turn on my pc for some music before she decides sit there so that she can heads to my bed. We start talking about music for a while and I have her listen to some stuff and she does the same. Once this conversation starts to get less interesting, I have her play the Question Game with me. So we're asking each other questions and obviously the questions start to get interesting and sexual. Then this happens:

K: Were you serious about yesterday's text?

Me: Yeah. Does that surprise you?

K: I don't know. Why do you want to?

Me: Why not? (with a smile on my face)

It gets silent for a minute, and I'm about to ask her if she wanted to kiss me when out of the blue she says

K: Well if you're going to kiss me just fucking do it already.

No need to tell me twice. We kiss for a bit, but we're not in the best position to do so because we were both sitting up against the wall, so I lift her (she let's out a little gasp when I do this) and set her down in the middle of the bed and we start making out like no tomorrow. I lift up her shirt and bra, but she's not in the position for me to take it off completely so I'm just sucking on her boobs and she's enjoying herself very much, breathing deeply and moaning every so often and grinding up against me. I roll over so that she's on top of me, and try to take off her shirt, but she doesn't let me. She lowers her shirt, and at this point I'm thinking LMR. But whatever, we were still making out through all this and she won't let off so I'm happy. After a long while, she cuddles up to me, burying her face in my shoulder and hugging me while I just hold her there, playing with her hair. She tells me that she should go home, and say that's fine (and I was completely fine with this). She kisses my lips, and then we end up kissing again for what seemed like forever until we finally decide to leave. The car ride to her house was initially kind of an awkward silence but we started talking about stuff again and joking and what not. I pull up to her house, I tell her to have a good night. She ask me to hug her, so I do, and she kisses me again. She goes home, I go to my buds place to celebrate.

Reflection

I probably should have kissed her much earlier. Like, cruise earlier. As far as the Last Minute Resistance goes, I did not know what to do as I was not prepared for that. I have Tuesday off of work, so I'm planning to take her out again. Or should I wait for her to text me? Any feedback is appreciated!
