What are IOI's for men?

men are not generally turned off by an approach from a woman.

the issue i've noted most often is a lack of confidence in the men doing the responding to an approach from a woman.

story time from some years ago:

new, pretty, employee (just moved to the city as well) in the building i worked at, but not my office. i helped her find the weird little access to a rooftop air traffic control tower she was starting work at. she was very grateful, and we had a fun little conversation. ran into her again later that day, and she asked if there was a place for coffee nearby.

i point out the little place across the way and wished her the best in her new circumstances. 10 minutes later i twig to what just happened, but she was long gone.

by now, you wish you could punch me in the face for being so oblivious.

keep that story in mind when you approach a guy, sometimes we just have no clue and don't assume reciprocal attraction for the most part.

Prolonged or repeated eye contact is a good sign. If he's checking you out from across the room, it means he's interested, but for whatever reason isn't coming to you. Here is where making the first step and approaching the guy could solve a lot of problems. Sure, I'm sure girls would love to be swept off their feet by a tall, dark, and handsome guy. But there are very few guys out there who are complete naturals that weren't AFCs before they became PUAs. Approaching can be the hardest part for most people. Just because he's being a little shy doesn't mean he isn't a pretty cool guy -- give him a chance.

After that, kino is a big indicator of interest. If a guy is putting his hands on you, there's pretty much only one reason for it. Even when I'm moving through a crowd, I'm always touching girls. Not because I'm making moves on them, but because I like touching them, even just on the shoulder or back. I'll move them a bit, and a lot I'll get a look from them. It's rarely an unapproving look. You might need to encourage him to touch you by touching him first. Hell, even put his hands on you for him, if you really want to gift-wrap it.

If he's still not getting it, he may be hopeless.
