Telling a son that he is handsome is every good mothers part time job :D On other note, most of the times i failed in maintaining was because of talking too much of myself. I've learned a lot from that and now I try to keep the information about myself to minimum. Talk about her and let her talk about her passion, it feels good to get that out. Also look at her in the eyes while she is saying that, you'll see somewhat of a spark in her eyes, and a smile on her face. On normal day dates i try to talk about her at least 70% of a time, while doing kino. Like everyone says kino is gold, if you're some1 that listens to her, you'll get in the FZ, if you are physical, you won't.

Also keep in mind that you should be talking about passion, good memories and not her everyday problems. A line i use very often is: so, what gets your blood racing? ... Try to come up with a few lines with which you can redirect the conversation to her.

Make sure you are genuine on your first interactions. If you are making yourself out to be something you aren't, of course they will lose interest. Let them be attracted to who you are through and through.
