Most people say dont show interest, play it cool, be mysterious

Well I’m a Daygame Cold Approach Coach, so let me explain this.

What this actually means is that rather than acting like you are already sold on her ready to have sex or become her boyfriend just because she is pretty, instead you only show a little bit of interest in getting to know her and evaluate whether she is more interesting than just her looks before you decide if she has earned you escalating with her to next step.

If you show interest without her earning it enough, it’s likely to raise suspicions that you are needy, don’t have many options or that your standards for women are low, or you just plan on using her for easy sex, and thus she loses interest or attraction.

If you however don’t show interest at all because you want to play it cool, and never show her that you like her out of fear of losing the attraction or the interest she has on you, then nothing ever happens.

So what you need to do to stretch the gap between showing too much interest and playing it cool is called Qualification. That’s the term in the seduction community that justifies to a woman that a real high value man shows interest or develops sexual or romantic feelings with a specific woman like her, instead of another one.

This solves the 2 main objections that women have when a man shows interest:

Is he really a high value man despite being interested in me? (She questions whether you are a legitimate high value man)
Are you sure he is actually interested in me despite being a high value man? (She knows for sure that you are a high value man, but questions whether you are genuinely interested in her for real or just for superficial reasons)

So in order to escalate and show interest specially when she is giving IOIs, is to justify your escalation based on the virtues and positive qualities she has demonstrated while talking with you.

For example:

She talks about her achievements, and accomplishments, she gives you favours after you request or by her own initiative, she tries to impress you and tries not to disappoint you, she tries to fit into your standards, interests, hobbies, she spends time, money, emotional energy in you far more than what most people would….

All of those are examples of qualification. So what you do once you have noticed enough of those things, is to reward her with an escalation but by saying why you are escalating to that specific escalation.

For example.

Let’s say that you want her number, (that’s an escalation) if you just ask for the number for no reason given, you lose value/attraction. So you need to qualify her and say the reason which could be:

“_At first i thought you were just a pretty girl like all the others, but after talking with you I think you really are a smart, empathetic girl who loves to make people feel welcomed and included, and that makes me want to see you again sometime. Put your number in my phone and we'll make it happen_”

This way you have shown that you are a man with high standards who doesn’t show interest in any random pretty girl unless she truly has demonstrated that she deserves it. This makes you look more congruent with the fact that you are a high value man with high standards and as a result the woman doesn’t lose interest or attraction because she feels she has earned the interest of a high value man.

This is how you balance playing it cool with showing interest.

There's nothing wrong with showing genuine interest if she is genuinely interested in you.

if you're asking this question your level isn't high enough to be subtle about interest

showing explicit interest works better for beginners than trying to "play it cool"
