My boy, it's the first time you meet them and probably you won't see them as often. Show interest, ask them questions what they are into, memories, stuff like that.

And if a xontroversial topic comes up, just listen and joke a bit, and change topics. Lead the conversation to nice places, instead of letting it become a tricky situation.

Just chill. And if their parents say anything your girlfriend disagrees with pick her side always, only if she seems like she wants your opinion on it (EVEN IF YOU THINK SHE'S IN THE WRONG). Your gf loves you her parents will love you too.

Basically everything that makes you a good conversationalist when talking to women works for non-dating settings too. Building rapport, banter, playful teasing, playful challenging, etc.

Maybe just leave out flirting and escalation though.
