In asking this question of Seddit users to be answered out of their own personal philosophy...

I read an article that stated that women desired men with independent lives -- something I totally agree with.

My question then is this; I work between 40 and 60 hours a week at a hospital. It's the largest block of my life and it's very exciting, varied, and if you don't think it's INTENSIVE I don't CARE, you can suck my UNIT.

Now, I do other stuff, plenty of it. But in my remaining free time I like spending with whatever girl I'm with.

Is that too much proportionally? Am I not being independent?
