I'd say I had pretty good sucess with tinder (beside the fact that I haven't found any wife material).

I've narrowed down the texting into different phases. Loosely described below:

  • Imaginary/dreamy phase

What kind of traveling adventure we'll be undertaking

  • The semi boring interview phase getting to know each other phase

We both exercise but what kind of exercise? What kind of work/study we do.

  • Getting the number phase

Here I simply say that they seem interesting and I think we should continue the conversation over a cup of coffee or the like. When they agree I ask them to send me their number.

  • Logistics

Using SMS I set up a time and place for a date. And everything seems peachy.

This all happens within 3-6 hours or a few days depending on their responsiveness.

This actually seems to be working quite well. Beside that I'm experiencing a lot of flaking. This has only been a problem for a couple of months. Before that I had no flakes at all! I feel like I've become better at getting the number and setting up a date (which then never happens). And usually flaking results in me never meeting them. When I try to set up a new date they usually don't respond.

I discussed it with a friend of mine and he suggested that it might be because it simply went a bit too fast. They gave me their number and agreed to the date in the spirit of the moment. What do you guys think?

If I'm to prolong the process... well I'm just very much for a short and quick interaction and then meeting for a quick date. I don't have time to text girls throughout the day. And I honestly only have a limited number of cool things to share... I exercise, eat healthy, spend time with friends and family and kill time on reddit but it quickly begins repeating itself. Anyway, I'm looking forward to input from you guys.
