She could be tellin the truth. Give her one more chance, if she flakes again drop it. From your texts everything seems good, just dont put all your eggs in one basket but you probably allready know that.

RSD Madison has an approach to this situation that I really like: propose a second date, tell her something playfully like "but this time drinks are on you" or to come up with a place herself. Emphasis on playfully.

He's also very adamant about calling the girl before the date to make sure she's still up for it. It's not meant to be needy, it's meant to show you have boundaries. He says something along the lines of, "Listen, I have this little thing where I call my date beforehand to make sure we don't go on a date where we're not going to enjoy each other and waste each other's time, cool?"

Lastly, if you propose a date and time and she responds vaguely, i.e. "I'll let you know, something might come up that day, firmly say that doesn't work for you. Interestingly enough, sometimes that'll make her totally want you more.

TL;DR: Clearly set your boundaries without being needy or aggressive, demonstrating high value

Happened to me with my last date. But she suggested a new day, which told me she definitely deserved another shot. I responded by saying something flirty like, "okay let's try Thursday, but now you have to buy our coffees ;)"

She showed up to that one. If she didn't try to reschedule, I either would have not answered or told her to let me know next time she's free. Ball is in her court, move on.

Let her off the hook? You don't have any existing relationship with this girl, so there is no hook.

You should take all flakes the same way -- a sign of disinterest. Not a big deal.

Just respond, "no problem, some other time" and let her set up the next meet.

If you seduce a woman properly, she won't sleep past her alarm. You want to get to the point where she can't sleep at all because she is so preoccupied with thoughts of you.
