1) Confidence is key. Keep yourself in that "fresh start" frame of mind, even after you keep getting rejected. It's not about faking it till you make it. You see, faking it IS making it. Even George Clooney had to start somewhere to get where he is now. Try different styles, and pay attention to what works and what doesn't. For me, what works is starting out with casual small talk, and gradually escalating it.

2) Don't worry about your looks. If you think your physical appearance is what's stopping you from getting laid, chances are you're wrong. Sure, your looks are important. I'm sure Chris Evans would've gotten much less rejections than I did. But they're not the end all be all. I'm a skinny brown dude. According to Tinder and Bumble, I'm near the bottom of the barrel. Even so, I ended up going home with a hot blonde because I persevered even after getting rejected, because I was confident. Rejections don't really matter since, at the end of the day, you're only trying to score with one girl (unless you're aiming for a threesome... god help you). But you have nothing to lose.

3) Get out of the house, even if you're nervous. Over a decade of anxiety has conditioned me to fear trying adventurous things. As I was walking to the bar I was nervous as shit. But it worked out in the end, and next time it'll be so much easier. The more you go out, the more it becomes routine.

Yeah, so I guess this is kind of just a post to motivate people like me out there!
