Inferiority complex. How can I stop feeling inferior?

I am kind of going through the same thing, even though I'm more on the recovery side of the breakup.

Right now I have changed a bunch of routines in my life that make me feel good. When I go out and about I write down all the times I feel inferior or anxious. I analyze those in the evening, when you're out of the moment and realize how crazy I sounded earlier. This has helped a lot. just understanding the reason why I feel inferior is because I /think/ the person actually is judging me and so on, but in reality it's not true at all. It's just our own thought expressing these feelings because /we/ are too dependent on the outcome of our actions.

Once you start to not really care of any adversity (outcomes) in your life, the anxiety and inferiority starts to dwindle.

Just be you, be true to yourself and your feeling and you will find a less anxious/inferior life. Stop thinking so much and just do 👍🏼

I'm going to suggest something that I think fits outside the usual mold of advice you'll get here (gym, socialize, say "yes" to everything, find hobbies, etc). I want to be clear that the "usual advice" is very good, and will work if you commit to it.

Buy a journal (maybe just a small ringed note-pad with a nice cover) and a nice pen. Every night write a paragraph to a page about your day and how you feel. Be specific. Then rank your day out of 10. Don't be afraid of 0's, and 1's, or 9's and 10s - those days will happen and you need to document them. Especially those days.

As you start to do things to turn your life around you'll notice that you'll see less 0s, 1s, and 2s, more 4s, 5s, 6s, 7s. It'll take a while, but seeing the progression is everything. It means you're accomplishing something, and you have proof. You'll be able to look back at the 0s-2s, at how shitty you felt and say "never again", which will only motivate you even more. It's a reminder of who you were, who you are, and who you want to be. You'll see the 10s, and what that day was like, and you'll be driven to make every day just like that.

You'll miss days, definitely, but dont beat yourself up and try to be regular. It's just 5 minutes every night. It really helps me out. Helps me with goals, with relationships (romantic or otherwise), with my career, etc.

Seems like you think you are bad at pickup. Every time you have a negative thought, be mindful, notice it, and tell yourself that it's a bullshit thought that is false and not helpful. Practice this all the time, every day, set a reminder if you have to. Believe me, after a while your mind will make it a habit. Then no more negative thoughts. However, you need to stick with this for some time, don't stop practicing on the second week.

Also, being good with girls has nothing to do with happiness. You should be happy that you have something to improve on.

Go a little deeper. Why do you feel inferior? How are you not good with girls? Before asking what can you do, what do you even do today?
