The main stream assumption is that it should be "natural". There is actually a bit of shaming involved for men trying to learn this skill. Like you SHOULDN'T be learning this. You should be "good enough" to attract women naturally by being yourself. Learning these kind of skills is perceived as manipulative and/or pathetic (ie; you aren't good enough, you have to resort to... THIS).

In reality though, it's like toast masters or improv. Sure, some people are naturals, but most people will have to learn. For some reason, society has hang ups about this. Probably due to the sexual nature of it. In addition, a lot of men honing these skills are non monogamous, which is mostly frowned upon. The general opinion in this sub is that you SHOULD be seeing more than one woman. The idea is that most men in scarcity mode are making bad decisions about their relationship. They have all their eggs in one basket and are desperate to make this one relationship work, rather than coming from abundance and picking the best/healthiest woman for them.

You learned how to walk, and how to talk. Your mother taught you to say "hello" to people, "thanks" when we give you something, and "please" when you ask something.

It's the same for seduction, you have to learn it.

Some people may argue that it's natural and spit on the seduction community because of that, but nothing is natural, you learn every single thing in life.

It comes down to your personality. If you are a genuinely charismatic guy you will apply it pretty well, if you are not naturally like that women will be able to tell and will know youre “acting” and not being yourself.

Let’s be honest, most of you visiting here will never learn because you just don’t have what it takes and are unwilling to change because you always listen to what you want to hear and not what you should hear.

Great example is all the morons defending that one guy crying over one date in a thread yesterday, the fact that most men in here think that’s normal is pathetic. Go cry to a woman about little things and see how long she puts up with you in her life!

I attribute this sub to helping me with my first girlfriend my freshman year of high school. Would I have had good chances with the girl anyways? Sure. Did it help immensely though? A definitive yes.

Not everyone starts out hooking up with numerous girls a week, it takes time and practice, something everyone can do.

You are thinking incorrectly, and that will trap you.

First, you don't "find" what you are good at, you develop it with long hours of practice. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.

Second, frame things in terms of progress, not failure. "I approached six girls today" is success. "I didn't get laid once" is the same events, described as failure.

Third: Learn. Read some. Find people to work if, if you can. Don't spend lots of money. Lots of people will sell you stuff until you run out of money. One or two books, max. "Models" is a good start. Find a wing, if you can.

Four: Most people fail because they try to fly before they can walk. Cold pickup is hard. Making friends is easy. Build the basic social skills, and social network, then work on pickup.

Five: Have other things you want to get good at. Someone with no interests except getting laid is boring as fuck.
