Its all about mindset for you and the other guys/girls reading this. Remember first of all that you have a lot to offer someone, if you don't know what this is, you should be working hard to figure out your life's passion and how to be the best you can be at it. Second, remember that every time you talk with someone or ask them out, or go on a first date, or text them or message them on tinder you are PRACTICING. In America the biggest sporting event is the Super bowl which will be played this Sunday. The super bowl in dating is finding the most perfect match of your life. Would a football player go into the super bowl without years and years of practice, of course not! So why should you? How are you going to be ready for THE ONE without practice? So relax and realize that if this introduction/date/online message isn't with the perfect match then its just another practice.

Confidence is doing something you know how to do and doing it well. Do you get as nervous driving your car on the freeway now as you did when you started learning? No. Because you got the reps in. Time and repitition = mastery. The more you ask girls out and the more you get rejected, the more comfortable you'll become and the more confident you'll appear. Keep it up!

What are you getting turned down to do?
If your definition of a "win" is to roll in the sack with her, you are in trouble.

Find a different definition of "win." Enroll her to have coffee with you outdoors, six feet apart and masked. Assure her that its only to get to know her and keep your promise.

When you go for coffee, gently ask her all about her. Channel your best "Johnny Carson" (google him and watch YouTubes of the master - he always made it about his guest and never about him).

Show up for her and listen with a deep intention to understand her and 9:1 odds, she'll accept the next date. Keep your promise and accept the win and avoid pushing her to do anything.

If on the small chance she doesn't, tell her you appreciated learning about her and ask if she would like to have coffee again. If she says no, rather than beat up on yourself, congratulate yourself because you now have the power to ask someone else for what you want (I suggest your goal, for now, is simply engaging in conversation, you can raise the bar later).

Think very carefully about what you really want as the outcome of asking someone out and keep your promise to them about what you will bring (and not bring) to the date.

That’s awesome man, do you ever bring attention to your nervousness in your approaches ? Do you ever say “sorry I’m a little nervous” or anything like that?
