You’ve gotten some pretty shitty advice. Cold approach is fine. But it takes work. Men like to say you can’t be successful without money, success, etc because THEY don’t have those things and also don’t have success. So it’s easier to blame it on shit they don’t have.

The key is to have a “reason” to talk to her. If you walk up to a girl to hit on her just like the last 30 dudes who have tried in the last 15 min she will immediately shut off and you get a canned and well practiced response. That shit is on autopilot. You gotta get around that first.

It definitely works but while you do that you have to improve your body, money and charisma. Once you have a nice physique, make decent money, have your passions and hobbies and can make people open up you, it makes cold approach easier to do. Also, if you do all those things, it would make rejection so much easy to take because you would say to yourself "I have a good body, I make money, I have a great personality and I have a purpose in life, she is the one with the problem, what better man can she get.” Rejection will be like nothing to you if you result improve yourself to be a high tier male. Lastly, doing all those things will make your extremely confident which really helps when interacting with the opposite sex.

Works, but rarely. Defiantly a numbers game. Why would you expect day time approaching to have a high success rate? It's not an environment designed for pick up, it's an environment where pick up isn't practical and isn't always welcome. Bare in mind you are stepping out of the box and doing something unconventional, of course it's not going to yield consistent high results
