Not sure if it counts, but it still feels like a huge step for me. I've been doing the Neil Strauss 30 day thing which has been helpful for the most part. Making small talk with people, etc. I'm on day 7 where I have to open a woman/group of women using an indirect question opener. The opener I used was really lame, I'm actually too embarrassed to post it here, but I couldn't think of anything better and honestly I figured the lamer the better, it would toughen me up.

Well I went out with the intention of doing this, spent like 2 hours walking around, missing opportunity after opportunity and talking myself out of it every time. Finally I see two attractive women by a sunglasses kiosk. After they made their purchase and started walking off I walk up to them, get their attention and drop my (lame) indirect opener. It went over terribly. They look at me like I'm a Cutco salesman. Pure disdain. They just go "uhhh, I don't know" and then walk away really fast. This is what cold approaching feels like? It sucks! Idk how much longer I'm going to do this. Would rather work on social circle or nightlife. But it still feels like a useful exercise, and I can feel myself getting bolder. So for now I'll keep it going. Anyway I was really proud of myself for doing this. Peace.
