I'm a basket case. Lots of social anxiety and just a HUGE loser in life! And recently my social circle has become non-existant since they've all settled down with girlfriends, wives and kids etc.

I decided to pluck up all my courage and managed to find a meetup event near me at a bar. (this wasn't easy for me as someone with anxiety issues!)

I rocked up and 'luckily' some guy (think he was gay lol) took a shine to me which at least made me settle in easier weirdly enough, since he was so chatty and introduced me to people etc.

Shortly after 2 blonde girls also from the meetup (their first time, too) sat down. Both quite pretty. Both like 20 (i'm 30)

I almost think the gay guy gave me pre-selection in a weird way! Saying I was his type and he was upset I was straight lol.

Shortly after we all hit the dancefloor and were doing shots and just messing around.

I made a move for one of the blonde girls and we were chatting a bit but she left shortly after. Turns out she was sexting some guy all night (apparently AWFUL stuff haha) and she also told the other girl (the one i'd eventually pull) that I wasn't physically her type so would have been wasting my time with her as it turned out.

But the other blonde girl who I also liked clearly seemed to think I was hot and she was getting more and more touchy.

We had a few little dances and I teased her when the oportunity came up and tried to find ways to touch her a little, and when it was really late and it was time to go, I just suggested we go back to her place and she was into it

Went back and had sex and it was fun.

Meetup in my area is generally awful every time i've looked at it. Usually like 'walk in the park' events here! Not my thing. But this was on of the first of such events.

I think those of you in better cities could potentially look into it as a way to meet new people and maybe even hook up! (you can look at pics of the 'atendees' and see if anyone catches your eye and if it's worth going!)
