Boring questions are needed. They lead into different topics. Just try and keep the conversation going without putting too much pressure on what you are saying. How you ask questions is more important. Smiling helps a lot.

The best relationship forming conversation is simple, when you tell a person and they reciprocate in kind stories or people in our lives. That’s how all close relationships and bonds are formed. It’s how we get to know the person. Try getting to this. It really helps create mental intimacy.

You also will find out from trial and error certain things not to say. But you need to figure this out yourself over the years.

Ask questions that make somebody really think about what they are going to say.

Examples:

What would you say is the most valuable thing in your life and could you explain why.

If they have interests like say traveling ask “ Hmm interesting, now what parts of traveling interest you the most? The nature, food, culture etc.

Ask open ended questions and try to have her answer questions about you instead of her. Makes you more mysterious.

You have a conversation without asking so many question by making the following:

Statements, opinions, assumptions about her, observations, playful accusations, messing with her, joking around, being absurd, expressing your admiration, satisfaction, curiosity, intrigue, disagreement, distrust, suspicions, your emotions,…

Sharing anecdotes, personal stories and experiences, and talking about you imagine your life or her in the future, the dreams you want to accomplish, and how you will accomplish them, expressing your desire and appreciation for her qualities and attributes, how things make you feel,…

Ask to elaborate:

Ex: “oh you do _? I heard it’s like _, is that true?”

Comment and relate:

Ex: “I think it’s really cool that _. Actually, this one time, I also _.”

Comment and share your own opinion/experience:

Ex: “that’s interesting, for me it’s like ___.”

Change the topic, but only slightly:

Ex: “Huh, that reminds me of ___. So this other day, I…”

Default to popular topics:

Ex: (if you’re on a coffee date) “so do you usually order _____?”

(About the weather) “it’s really hot/cold nowadays, (insert small episode about how that affected your day/routine)

you're approaching this from the wrong pov. think about why you are panicking. The reason you are most likely panicking is because you are placing so much emphasis on the results of your interaction ( sex) . DO you panick when you talk to your teacher, parents, siblings? you don't because you have no expectations.

enter every conversation with zero expectations. just enjoy yourself and the people you are with. also , too much talking isn't always better.

Here is a little tip. when you feel the conversation start to drag, with some energy but not too much energy say " Let's play a game" and play a game with her. It can be any game you want. trivia, phyiscal , or interpersonal.

was she asking you questions and stuff back? If so, it shouldn't just stall out so easily.

If she wasn't, then the interaction was always going to stall out. Even if you done 'cold reads' instead etc. If she's not asking you stuff too its a one sided interaction and destined for failure. She's not interested

Boring questions are part of the job. The key is to ask one boring question on which you can jump with interesting anecdotes. For instance, if you ask her a question like "hey what's your next holidays?" or something, then you can either jump on your super-cool next holiday and try to relate with her or talk about a past experience that made you feel super happy or is super funny, etc
