It might be a factor, but unless OP has some secret technique that includes flashing his dick to strangers, it's mostly non-factor.

As someone who lives in the heart of one, it's mostly cold approaching both men who you find interesting and obviously women you wanna connect with. Your best bet would probably be discussing stuff like music, or cool shit to do in the area. Gotta start with some small talk until a deeper connection can be established.

The real answer is that you're not dating the right women. I started feeling this indifference towards women for a long while, and just a few days of having the thought of "Welp. Guess this is it for getting excited about women" I met a chick that caused a spark. That didn't work out eventually (which fucked with me for a while), but it made me realize that there are always better women out there and it's just a matter of finding them to be excited again.

I had just fallen out with this oneitis-material girl that I cold approached, and got depressed like a bitch about it. Reading this made me realize though - I could've chickened out so easily and that'd fuck me up even more. Thank you.

That's stuff I'd mostly do anyways, but not enough to say I'm the kinda guy to do that, it's like once every few sessions when I want to feel extra dominant. I do lead always. Pick her up, move her around and overall dictate how it's going to look like, but I'm indeed very passionate to the point where it made me worry if it's borderline BP. I also tend to cum relatively fast and rely on tongue and finger skills to make her cum, which is almost never a problem for me, so I guess that's why they …

Tried it. I can be ok with hair pulling sometimes but mostly I prefer classic pleasure to "pain"-induced one

A soft next means you don't INITIATE contact, but welcome it if it comes from her. Don't be too welcoming tho, you should be busy enough to not be available to respond to her too much. Just don't be too reactive, the convo shouldn't be of much interest to you unless it's logistics for the next bang.

Becoming the guy who approaches people like your friends do won't be an overnight process. You need to gradually expose yourself to the situation that causes your approach anxiety. Try talking to a bunch of people just to ask the time. In a festival environment you're pretty much guaranteed to have a few surprisingly positive reactions that'll snowball into a convo, which can potentially hook you up with a bunch of new friends. After you do that for a while, you'll naturally escalate the situati…

Not really. I do believe it can be beneficial to my SMV, but the odds are not with me on this one, I realize that. That's why I'm leaning towards finding some dude who seems cool. Only problem is that at least where I live that raises the chances of the guy being a total mess. It's just a risk I'm gonna have to take, either way. Thanks for the advice

Well my actual question was how shouldI pick a roomate which no one actually answered. The girl part is just an option that's currently available. And I think that's the least random I can get right now

You're saying it as if all hot girls behave exactly the same way lmao. This gal in particular looks chill but I'm not really familiar enough to tell whether she'll be any of those things

That's what I thought at first. Then I felt like "is it actually gonna go that way? should I even bother?". But I'm thinking more towards it. Actually another option just came up with another geeky dude who's probably gonna be quiet as fuck.

Solid advice. I'm already a musician so I use that to fill my schedule whenever I'm free. But once I'm done it's like "what now?". What would you say is a place that encourages talking?

Already got some, but they all have been in the city for a while and don't really seem to care for the 'new guy wanting to experience shit', so we just kinda hang out every now and then. Its ok for now but again, not nearly as vibrant as I'm aiming for.

I recently moved to a big city for the first time ever. I have a few friends here, but most of them are either bloopers or in a relationship so I don't really have anyone to explore the city with that I personally know. I tried going out by myself to this bar yesterday, and since the place was unexpectedly empty, I ended up not really approaching anyone. Should I just keep on going solo until something sticks? Do you guys have any better idea of getting myself to develop a more vibrant social & …

Definitely, her constant pursuit of control and making change in relatiobship dynamics which caused a relationship that was way too high-maintenance for me was a big reason I did this. She was by a lot of means an alpha woman, and even though it meant she was someone I truly appreciated, it had its toll on me and I kind of let my guard loose gradually over time. That made her doubt me and lose respect for me - which I know I could redeem if I stuck to my guns, but our different paths in life fuc…

I'm fortunately a music producer so I'll be way too busy listening for the technical shit instead of Thom Yorke's beautiful sorrowful whines. I'll have a super difficult time getting rid of the reminders, some of them include a photo album of us, but guess I have to.

Sounds like something that could benefit me for sure. I've read NMMNG about 2 times but I feel like I haven't implemented it as much as I'd like. Hope that taking it more seriously through CBT will push it forward.
/r/askTRP08/01/18 08:20 PM

Whoa. Just asking a question on what I believe is askTRP. I know nothing about CBT, and I was afraid it might be a blue pill construct that might harm me more than help if I take the leap and trust it whole-heartedly. I'll let you know when I'm done. Good idea

You make an interesting point. Though the real struggle here is maintaining friendships on a tight schedule. Doing 10-6 full time leaves me with little to no time for socializing, since I spend most of my free time on making music, which is my mission.
/r/askTRP19/12/17 11:16 PM

I'd probably say I'm somewhere between the two haha. I don't mind company but my default state is either being alone or with very few people, that's where I feel most natural.

I seem to appreciate genuine musical talent (I'm in a music college environment), alongside some aura of mystery. Being mysterious, ironically, always felt mysterious to me in terms of how people maintain it.

I have this weird problem where ny social anxiety (which I thought I've overcome years ago) is back, but for like a day, or even a few hours. I'm near people all day, but this started happening recently. Also, it happens a lot when I'm interacting with people I perceive as high-value (not SMV, just general value). It's like I'm half star-struck by people I'm interested in (mostly male). Any ideas as to what may cause that? Solutions?

She's actually having a lot of second thoughts about it, and she's involving me in the process. It's gotten to the point where she discussed it with my own dad while I was next to them. Call me naive, but I think she'd be much more confident yet discrete about it if she just wanted an opportunity to cheat.

I understand your way of thinking by objective standards, and I'm not saying they don't apply to me. I decided I'm willing to take the risk because the only thing at stake here is our relationship which I don't mind about it ending if such a thing will happen. Also most of the people that do it work their asses off so much they end up hating it, I'm not gonna be the controlling asshole that'll tell her what to do, if she messes this up it'll cost me only the minor inconvenience of cancelling the…

If our great relationship isn't good enough for her to be loyal that'll defibitely be the end of it, and I'm definitely not afraid of that option to ensue. I'm not gonna fool myself with the whole "she's not that kinda gal", I'm prepared for the worst scenario even if it'll hit me like a train.
/r/askTRP08/06/17 06:14 PM
1

Nothing to do with it. I have no real reason to hold my ground besides my own insecurities, and to hell with that. If she'll do anything that isn't acceptable she knows I'm not the kinda supplicating bitch that will tolerate such behaviours and that she'll be on the other side of the door if that should happen.
/r/askTRP08/06/17 06:11 PM
1

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I decided just a bit before reading this that this is exactly the approach I'll take. If she takes this month as some opportunity to fuck things up, it's her problem and it's almost risk-free on my part even though it'll feel like shit if she does. But the way I know her, I'm just being paranoid and I shouldn't let those feelings make decisions for me.

I wish that was possible. The housing market here fucking sucks and it took us a while to find a good place in a good price, like the one we're planned to move into.

That's the thing. I'm really attracted to my GF, definitely enough so that I'd imagine maintaining a boner with that level of attraction wouldn't be an issue, but still not overwhelmingly attracted or anything. I definitely don't see myself as a failure, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not distracted by the fear or losing it while having sex with her even though I do my best to disconnect while doing it. Do you know how does one go about treating psychological issues like that?

Yeah I figured you'd say that lol. It's alright buddy, I'm a responsible adult and I'd rather seize 100% of a school that cost me my life's earning rather than prioritizing being in shape abd get only 70%. I'm studying music so way I see it is if I don't become outstandingly good at it, I might as well sell my soul to the corporate world and lead a life of wage-slaved compromise.
/r/askTRP14/04/17 06:13 PM

My entire LTR pretty much yeah, on and off but most of the time. I'm completely healthy AFAIK, weight and T levels are in check though I'm kinda out of shape. I went no fap for a few months, it helped in terms of premature ejac. Hapening more often than erectile dysfunction, but not drastically. I've been sleeping well (7 hours on avg.) for the last 2 years or so.
/r/askTRP14/04/17 05:55 PM

I must've been unclear. I tend to strengthen my thigh muscles (maybe contracting/stretching is the right word?) while having sex, and when I notice it and stop it, it can cause me to lose my erection or just cause a decrease in sensitivity...

Glad you brought that up, I'm feeling like a pre-sex ed teenager here lol.. But how do you properly manscape? I'm used to trimming with scissors but I'm sure there's a better, more efficient way

Currently not, probably will be back in the gym once school's over. Not sure what does that have to do with it tho?

I believe you won't change your tendencies until you get some new experiences that you know you wouldn't have if it wasn't for you stepping out of your comfort zone. Keep pushing yourself, do things that give you anxiety at first but you know it's dumb that they do - hitting on chicks, saying hi to some dude who looks cool, be a little more involved in a convo with the means of expressing yourself more. You got this buddy
/r/askTRP25/12/16 08:15 AM

Thanks dude. Appreciate the feedback. We kinda talked this through and I just took a hard lesson about how seriously I should take her sudden emotional outbursts.
/r/askTRP25/12/16 08:13 AM

Thanks man, will definitely check it out. I actually got off the phone with her and she said the same thing in a different wording, as in "I was emotional and didn't want to get too much into you but you didn't get the clue and let me relax. I wanted to discuss it later after I've calmed down". I guess she is more self-aware than I give her credit for sometimes, I let it slide and hopefully better handling of that stuff in the future will help.

First of all, sincerely appreciate the honesty. To paint you a more detailed picture, I'm in between semesters studying music production, in means of pursuing a career when I'm done next year. I'm doing fine financially, but saving more nonetheless. I'm with this girl because, like I said, the majority of the time things ARE good, we have great chemistry and really are there for each other to fulfill each other's needs while having fun along the process, and if I felt like moments like the one I…

Thanks for the reply. I agree DEERing is something I do too much, but I onlu find nyself doing it when she pulls those emotional things that lead to fights. Whenever I give an agree&amplify/amused mastery reply she gets mad at me not taking her seriously and making jokes out of serious matters, and she is not doing it in a cheerful way For example, I did say the first thing in the mother scenario, and all was good. Yeah sorry I didn't really know how to tackle this post in terms of necessary background. I'm 24, a college student (currently in between semesters) and working retail. She's 20. Living with my parents because : Don't see any reason to spend money on rent while studying which will interrupt my focus from studying for the sake of working Don't feel ready to move in with her yet because every once in a while she pulls this kind of bullshit

Yeah, I got the whole metaphor part. Thing is, I feel like I do so much shit for her comfort. She basically says "I Love You" once for every 2-3 times I say it lately, and she won't say it back when I say it, only on her terms (used to be the other way round). I'm her rock through every emotional storm she goes through, and she goes through LOTS OF THEM lately. We hang out together multiple times a week, and spend whole weekends together. I get that it sounds stupid when I say it, but still, I'm…

I want to ask about this. My LTR of 1.3 years does this thing once every few weeks where out of the blue she's moody and tries to let it out on me with feelz. Last time it happened was a few days ago. I resorted to logical arguments by telling her I'm not willing to deal with her trying to relate external shitty feelings with me and how I treat her, and that I'm a supportive-as-fuck boyfriend (she moved lately and I helped with basically everything), and next time she's not gonna double question…

According to this list she has a little more green flags than reds. I love the gal and I think she changed and has been through a lot since then. We do have our own issues besides that, but yeah I'll have to look closer into it, I already considered it numerous times before.
/r/askTRP08/07/16 06:54 PM

I see. Well you're just reassuring me that I still have a long way to go, nice to know you had a good period in your life doing things you enjoy as a career. I believe even TRP is guilty of neglecting that.

That's awesome of you. I'll ask you a few questions if you don't mind. Did you get good sleep as well? Did that career path work out for you? How much time was spent on traveling on average a day? Were you happy?
/r/askTRP23/06/16 06:44 PM

Yeah, I definitely have lots of work to do when it comes to time management. I'm studying music production though so it takes lots of extra work in order to have a chance being in the top 20% when I actually graduate and start working.

I got one - how should I go about being dominant in environments where masculinity isn't really admired? For example, I'm currently studying music production in college, and while one of the students is a classic alpha (muscular, great with women, extroverted), yet he's not really socially successful in our environment because, well, he's the Israeli stereotypical equivalent of a dumb jock. While one of the more mysterious, yet super shy and introverted guys is probably the most socially "acclai…

Just wanted to tell IamGale you're the most interesting poster I think we've had here since /u/OmLaLa. Thanks fpr consistently putting the effort and time to give us quality posts that change mindsets. I'll also tell you why - this particular post helped me realize something about me. You see, I'm a music production student and even though I'm probably top of my class, I always had this burdening feeling in my chest that I'm the least likely to make it in the industry. Then I realized, all the m…

Shes mostly frustrated because I get her horny during those sessions and then I suddenly lose it. And no I cant go multi The main problem I think is the lack of variety, I have to go relaxed and intense in order to not cum. Sometimes I just wanna go fast and rough but itll make me finish almost immediately

I last between 3-10 minutes of sex (excluding make-out/foreplay), tends to go more towards the 10 minute mark when a good foreplay session happens prior to that , but even that isn't consistent as my latest sex session has proven me yesterday (3 mins of oral each, then another 2 mins of 69 and a little more making out before actual sex, yet I reached the "point of no return" in about 4 minutes (3 minutes cowgirl, 1 minute doggy) and decided to cum instead of stopping myself and lose my boner aga…

I tend to disagree with that notion. I do believe men are expected much higher than women in various means, but it's because we as men are much more fit to endure it. It's unfair, I get that feeling of unfairness a lot with my GF, and I call her out on as much of it as I can, but it's never going to be perfectly equal, and even though it's hard for me to accept - I think it's worth it in the long run. You shouldn't feel entitled for sex/relationships just because you have a great job (high statu…

I've already started a process of less emotional investment towards my relationship, but thing is I'd really like to solve this with her because our relationship is great. I think she does deserve great sex from me, and I don't take her going through 6 months of pretty bad sex for granted. As a sidenote, this problem will probably move on with me to next relationships, so it's not like cutting losses with her will solve the problem IMO - it would only mean I get to continue working on it with th…

You're right for the most part. I am definitely optimistic about the opportunities that are about to open up for me to learn new things and rebuild myself as a new and better man. But I can't pretend that this break up is easy for me to do. It has lots of consequences that directly affect my life as I'm used to live it. I just recognize the fact that even though in the long run this is good for both of us, I'm still breaking both of our hearts, it's not like I feel nothing for her. I'm definitel…

This was a long read and obviouly so much worth it. First of all, thanks for taking the time to write all of this. I know the right thing to do is to split up. I've been in denial all along here because matter of fact I'm addicted to her and all she provides me. We actually had a few phone calls over the last few days after the convo, she kinda reframed everything and moved on to talking the way we always would talk and share each other. I couldn't take it, I fell into her frame and just continu…

She used the "life stuff did it" excuse in terms of why it's hard for her to try to work out our sex problems together in terms of trying to do more foreplay and spice things up somehow. I won't lie, if I heard the same story from a different dude, I wouldn't hesitate to tell him to get the fuck out of the relationship. But I do believe this woman is different than a lot of women out there - I don't think your average AWALT woman would admit such a thing, at least not before she'd bang chad and …

but you won't be able to fix it while embroiled in an unrewarding relationship that's making you feel less of a man. That's true, I can't deny. In case the relationship stays the same way it is right now, break-up will inevitably happen and if that's what that has to be done, it will be. I'm having hard time managing this, but I'm not that delusionally stupid, I know when something is toxic or not. I actually met my GF at a great time in my life where I was working while still having a lot of free time to work on self-improvement (lifting, developing my artistic hobbies , etc.). But between that point and now I started studying in college, and I made a bigger-than-my-own-life decision to study music production. I appreciate TRP for the no-bullshit approach, but I'm currently looking for making things better within the context of MAYBE deciding to stay in the relationship, since I don't think it's that obvious that I should just end things with someone I love and do see a mutual future with as long as we solve that specific sexuality issue. Every time I finished before her I'd finish her off hand or mouth and she'd orgasm, and I enjoy it mostly. But she said it turned pretty "mechanic" since thats what would always happen. We'd also shower together and after fooling around for a while we'd have sex right then and there in the bathroom and it'd be pretty fun and passionate. Good advice though, I'll look further into it.

Viagra might actually be helpful, but I dont want it to become a crutch, yknow? We occasionally initiate sex starting with a casual massage (either one of us randomly initiate and it just naturally turns into sex). I do believe performance anxiety isnt making it easier.

I appreciate your will to "wake me up", thing is the reason I decided to ask all those questions was because this is my first real LTR experience and I felt the need at the time, mostly in order to make sure that I wasn't the one screwing things up. You're right that things should probably be going smoother at this stage. If I ever get this feeling again I'll make sure some shit changes, even if it means ending it, but since I don't find it necessary at this point I'm not gonna. Thanks

That's the thing - I'm a big part of the cause of why the sex sucks, and to be honest it doesnt suck for me other then the fact that she isnt always enjoying it to the max. Also, most of the time we do have lots of fun, I admittedly totally love the gal. I'm just looking for making her appreciate me more as an alpha. I think dread isn't a bad idea, like the other guy suggested.

Thanks for the write-up dude, this pretty perfectly described my thoughts about it. I've decided to withdraw a little emotional attachment and check for additional/reoccuring red flags to make an assessment of just how much she respects me. Even when she lets all of them know straight away that she's taken? She says to me that they are aware of her being with me (which is true with what I saw until now) - yet I can't shake the feeling of her trying to maintain plausible deniability.

Her excuse is "I'm afraid of hurting them, would you just ignore someone who texts you?" As if "yes" would be an inappropriate answer to that. I'd generally agree with you, but in my case it's just not like that. There's no weaponization of any sort, it doesn't even sound like she's talking about them for anything other than making me laugh, but it bothers me that she'd even talk to them in the first place y'know? Yeah, it's pretty much like that. I maintain strong frame, rarely have to deal with temper and everything goes smooth 90% of the time. We are both about to go through major life changes that will limit the frequency of us being able to meet, so I always had that in mind while going into this. That's not really the issue I stated in my OP. The issue I see is that you'd expect any girl to put out in a certain amount of dates, but you wouldn't date a girl who has a high n-count, even if it was all from guys that she waited this specified number of dates to have sex with (one at a time, not simultaneously with a few guys) - which is almost considered high-LTR potential by TRP.
/r/askTRP16/08/15 07:21 AM

Hey man, I don't think it was more about "judging fairly" than just understanding the logic behind the basic principles better. But thanks for that, I guess I still need to make this change in my mindset.

Alright, that's a good enough of a clarification. I don't understand the downvotes, I think TRP logic (or ANY logic for that matter) should be questioned back and forth, we're not a freaking cult here, we're figuring out this stuff.

That's where a possible double standard exists and I'd like your clarification on it. On the one hand - if you dated a girl (whether you'd consider her potential LTR material or not), you'd expect her to put out after like 3-5 dates at max. It's also possible it didn't work out after that number of dates and both of you moved on to the next person. On the other hand, if it wasn't more than a few months old relationship, it adds to her n-count since sex happened. How would you explain the contrad…

You could do RSD style videos where you basically explain theories and lessons learned, and do an approach or two demonstrating said theories in action. Do you practice on people from your social circle / work, or people you cold approach / recently met? One of my problems is the fear of getting myself in a vulnerable state where I go over the top with someone I know and then not having the actualy balsiness to back it up, since after all, I'm still just practicing.

I guess I failed in appropriately presenting my question, since I do agree with everything you said and all of it was a part of my mindset even while asking this. It was more to the effect of "Knowing that she might be in a relationship, should I change the way I take action?". My default mindset said to just ignore it as if I've never seen it, which seems to be the most agreeable mindset on here. So to make it clear - I don't give a fuck if she's actually taken or not, as long as she's willing …

I asked the question more for the sake of making sure I'd rather not call her bullshit on it, like I naturally thought.

Definitely not marry lol, as I said in one of the comments below, at this point I'm only willing to turn her into a plate at best.

I agree. Thanks for you input.

I'm not sure you understand my situation, so I'll explain : I'm not in a relationship with this girl, we just almost had a thing a while back and it didn't happen because I was in an LTR. Now we meet again coincidentally a few months later, exchanged numbers, and set up a meeting. During that convo she didn't mention a BF or anything, but when I checked her FB it said she's in a relationship.
/r/askTRP18/05/15 10:36 AM
1

I'm not willing to do anything beyond hooking up and possibly turning her into a plate at this point at least.
/r/askTRP18/05/15 10:34 AM
1

It might be possible, but I doubt it. Maybe I should've mentioned, it's not that she RECENTLY listed herself as in a relationship, it might've been there for a long time and I just haven't noticed since, well, I never bothered to check her FB before we met last week.
/r/askTRP18/05/15 10:32 AM

Last time I got head was for a girl I met the other day. We went out for a "date", 30 minutes and 1 beer later we're making out in the pub. Back to my house, we start making out again, and after some escalation I just looked her dead in the eye and told her "Show me what you know". Long story short, she got the hint.
/r/askTRP13/05/15 11:10 PM

I suggest you stop being so self-conscious because : Looks don't matter that much, even if girls aren't automatically checking you out, with good game your chances of hooking up with them go much higher. 2 months in a gym is pretty much nothing. I've been working out in a gym as well in the last 2.5 months or so, and only now people tell me they see SOME difference in my biceps. Dedication is key here, keep hitting the gym. You're in a new place and you're still not aware of the overall culture,…

I see. So you kind of next her (AKA contact exclusively for sex) and if she reciprocates you just assume she's down with it?
/r/askTRP02/05/15 08:47 PM
2

I figured that's a part of it, but LTR = commitment while FWB/Plate doesn't. Do you just go to less-investment-mode and assume she figured out that you're not exclusive anymore?
/r/askTRP02/05/15 08:41 PM
3

Until you can properly text (and even when that happens), I suggest you avoid constant texting for anything other than logistics. Don't be that guy who comes here looking for a decent response every time you're intrigued by her responses, that's way too much investment on your part IMO.

They don't have to hang out at pubs in order for him to soak some useful info. And let's face it, things could've gone differently if OP befriended D from the start instead of competing.

Can I be honest with you? As rough as that story is (and it genuinely hit home very hard for me), if I had a real life embodiment of all the theories I want to implement IRL and all the results I eventually want to get, I'd kinda hold on to it, even if it's for that sake only. The closest thing I have to that is a natural alpha guy (yet still reformed beta) that has been one of my best friends for years now, and I held on to him even though he pulled me through all kinds of weird shit that I som…

Great post as always, /u/Archwinger. It needs to be realized that when your value isn't high to a certain degree, any act of kindness or display of being a "good friend" (as OP said - attentive, helpful, etc...) is like dust in the wind, nobody freaking cares about it unless it comes from a person of value.

I'm aware of that, I probably won't hang out with him at bars if it's a night I'm willing to actually hang out and not just have a nice talk over a beer or something. It doesn't change the fact that he's my friend and he needs my support, I'm not going to ditch him over some psuedo-philosophy about low-value people, he's a genuinely nice guy.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 07:21 PM

I think I mentioned at some point that her level of interest was really gray-area to me since I got no clear textbook IOIs OR IODs from her. I had no reason to not at least try to go for it IMO, even if there wasn't a very strong indication of interest. As for distance, I actually live in a city 40km (about 15m I think?) from where we hung out (which is also where she lives).
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 07:19 PM

I practically did that, but left her with the option to call/text me instead of sneakingly forcing my number into her phone - if I were her I'd think there's an element of inconfidence to it.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 03:23 PM

I guess I would if that guy would be my definition of cool. He was just kinda obnoxious and textbook alpha from the kind I don't really get along with. My virtue is being chill and the majority of my friends are practically the same type.

I did say I don't consider it a success story, though she did text me back and we already set up to meet later this week. The reason I went for 8 was because the 7 is totally objective, and from my own perspective based on personal preferences she was like a 6, which is nothing I didn't have before and didn't really feel motivated to pursue instead of going for something new like an 8 (which is also 8 in my perspective). Then again, I do recognize my inexperience and am always learning. Thanks f…

I really have no idea what their background is. IIRC they knew from before and randomly met while walking to the pub where we hung out, and told each other they'll meet later. I guess their excitement about his arrival came from the fact they didn't know whether if to expect him or not. She just agreed to go out later this week, so I guess he wasn't such a biggie after all.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 08:16 AM

The low-SMV thing only applies to one of those friends, and the cause of that is his attitude. From an objective point of view I bet we look like a bunch of good looking guys actually. You're definitely right about the cool social circle though.

I'll be 23 in 2 weeks, and I lost my virginity less than a year ago to my first ever LTR. After that went down I had sex with 2 other women (one of them being my current plate). All of them were 6s (on average, some a little lower, some a little higher). The reason I don't really care about "eating scraps" is I'm not looking for some prude LTR-material girl, I'm just looking for higher-SMV women to gain some positive sexual experiences with the kind of women I've always wanted, but couldn't get.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 07:38 AM
1

I don't think I ever had any success with a girl of my height or taller, now that I think of it. I guess it's just natural preferences since I do agree with you about the whole bending knees thing.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 05:30 AM

Hey, everyone takes their self-development process in a way, some people probably turn out to be one of those types.
/r/TheRedPill29/03/15 05:29 AM
3

It's not like I justify his behaviour, but being out of a 7 year relationship when you're 22 years old is rough as hell. He was pretty alpha when he was still with his GF, but once she was gone his scarcity mentality kicked in and he went back to his 15 year-old self's knowledge of the sexual market place.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 09:09 PM
5

He started psycho-analyzing himself and the outcomes of getting out of a 7-year LTR. Sentences like "I have no friends right now" and "I have no idea how to communicate with any woman besides my ex, I actually just had a failed date this week" were thrown into the air. It's very human to feel the way he does, and it's too bad he didn't have any non-platonic interaction with a female all those years. I couldn't be mad at him, but at some point the interaction was all he talking about himself and …

I guess so. Maybe it was only contextual, but I tend to think this way about high-SMV extroverts. It's only a matter of opinion/perspective eventually.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 08:09 PM
6

It doesn't necessarily have a lot to do with physical build, he was just very extroverted and you could realize from their reaction to his arrival and the way the girls interacted with him that he's not some ordinary beta.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 07:55 PM
2

I guess your misunderstanding is why I warned people about English not being my first language. I really don't think I put a lot of value into those girls, I was doing a lot of push-pull (mixed signals, IOIs & IODs altogether), wasn't terribly excited about their presence and never felt responsible for them to have fun with me. Actually, 7 was the one who tried hard to participate in our interaction pretty much everytime I said something, she was looking for my validation like crazy. Then again,…

Hahaha yeah I guess you're right. I think it would be apparent if you were there, since my style is very chill and low-key while he was very upbeat and high-energy - I guess that's the difference between us that made me think he's somehow higher-SMV. I'm 5'9 myself BTW.

Hey man, nobody's perfect and 100% alpha like you. I'm still in the process of swallowing the pill, and quite frankly I think I'm doing pretty well, definitely much better than my hardcore bluepill days. I didn't leave because of the dude, I was sitting there in the first place and both my friends and I got bored and hungry so we decided to leave, the alpha guy didn't have anything to do with our decision. Also, who fucking cares if he fucked her after that? I'm not looking for some marriage-mat…
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 04:57 PM

Well he was sitting right next to her, with his hand leaning on her thigh. I wasn't being sly or anything, he might've been listening but I didn't really pay attention.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 04:54 PM
3

Yeah, giving out my number isn't my go-to approach usually. In the context of her being concentrated in her convo with her friend and the alpha-guy, while my friends were getting ready to leave, I felt like it was a better thing to do rather than blatantly ask for her number. I guess you could say it was lower-risk on my part, but I don't think it would go as swimmingly the other way.
/r/TheRedPill28/03/15 03:36 PM
3

I guess you could say I felt threatened at first, but my first reaction to my friend telling me my chances are gone for good was "Don't worry man, I got this". Thanks for the kind words!

It's a great cheatsheet. I think someone should make a post elaborating on the whole "rather be a douchebag than a beta" thing, I think it could help a lot of newbies-to-alphaness like myself.
/r/askTRP13/03/15 09:34 AM
1

Hey man, I take every piece of knowledge I can get, and as far as I'm concerned your rant is just a wall of golden text, and I read and appreciate every word of it. I'd like to address what you said about self-amusement. How does that correlate to NOT laughing at your own jokes? What kind of amusement is that? The internal kind of "I'd laugh at this if I were them but since it's my joke I'm not going to"?
/r/askTRP12/03/15 11:11 PM
1

That WOULD be terrific. Thing is I already tried to host a thing at my house when my parents were in a trip to wherever and it kind of failed miserably. I got stressed and eventually ended up getting stoned a few hours beforehand and failed to organize everything, so I had low-alcohol and snacks. I guess it's something I should work on, sometime, but better get my confidence up on smaller groups before I go for the big groups' stuff again.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 11:07 PM
1

While I do get that, I don't think it's up to every alpha guy out there to host awesome stuff and do this kind of things. Also I'm more of an introvert so it would be hard to me to actually organize something GOOD. My social circle is pretty short on people to say at the least, and I enjoy more personal small group vibes rather than large group vibes. I'll consider that anyway, thanks for expressing your opinion.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 10:51 PM
1

I guess it could work, but I just start to think of how much of a drag it is to organize shit like BBQs and I get turned off again. It's also not as simple since I live in an urban environment and still at my parents'. I tried to adapt to my own environment by just inviting people to do shit like drink in pubs and what not, but people don't tend to go with the flow very often.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 10:41 PM

I always try to play to my own advantages. It slightly works, but I guess I don't have the best idea of what my strengths are and how to play in their favor. That's the bit of the process I'm trying to figure out.

I do watch a lot of funny stuff on youtube, and have my general excitements and hobbies, as I'm a music enthusiast and pretty long time guitar player. I guess some of the laughing could be from being uncomfortable, like /u/RedbullF1 said in his comment.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 10:38 PM

Will do. The thing is I know I'm funny and I love my humor, I find myself thinking back about jokes I said that I know they are funny but people still didn't laugh. It might be a compatibility issue (with the people I surround myself with) or the way I deliver them. I don't know, I don't have any ambitions of becoming some super-funny comedian, obviously nothing professional, I would just like people to appreciate my humor. I guess you're right. I'm very much "in my head" kind of person, so I tend to over-think stuff and diagnose myself with non-existent/inaccurate problems that I try to solve somehow but never know how. The problem is though I always feel like there's something stopping me from being just like the other people who just by being theirselves become memorable to others, something I almost never feel like I am. Well fuck that. Thanks for answering!

You're right about everything, thanks.
/r/askTRP12/03/15 04:10 PM

God I wish it was actually like that. I'm definitely not trying to consciously maintain anything about the fun vibe, it's just that I'm not that kind of person. I have a problem keeping a straight face for some reason. Also, like I said in the OP, I never actually focused on it until it kind of hit me. It just derives from the ability to create connections when you aren't actually fun/exciting/whatever. That's the problem I'm trying to solve...
/r/askTRP12/03/15 03:55 PM
1

It might be a good idea, but it's a single serving solution for the core problem here, which is - I'm not a naturally fun person, at least not with the people I know. I feel like I'll need to settle for people who I have less chemistry with or just less compatible with for the sake of fun or something, y'know?

If I understood correctly what /u/IllimitableMan said, it doesn't necessarily has to be working on the financial aspect of things, it's more like working on your own personal weaknesses. In my case it was being interactive and social.

That's a really great perspective on monk mode I never had before, I always thought isolation was a natural part of the process, since you get yourself occupied with implementing the new-found principles and you'd rather not make too much contact with anyone before you become "the new you". I'm actually nearing 23, OK with money and my biggest issues would probably be socialising, getting laid and low SMV (AKA gym). I do have a slight indication of a career path I want to take, while always doin…

I don't want you to get the wrong picture, I'm not a beta virgin who has any problems hitting on a girl. I'm still not confident to the place of rolling solo, also I don't really leave in a major city where I have where to do that. That's why I emphasized that I'm not from the US, we don't have as much people here that I could go out whenver and wherever and there'd be an abundance of women out there.

Seriously? So am I just going to give up sex for 6 months? It's not like I have sex on the regular, I discovered TRP just a few months ago and I basically have no opportunities for sex besides this. I guess I should have preficed with that - I don't have much friends and definitely no girls that I hook up with. It's pretty much impossible for me to meet anyone new since I'm involuntarily a stay-at-home chump. What would you do if you were me?

Hahaha definitely not a woman, that's why I was asking. I actually attempted reading that book (after reading a lot of long books like Rational Male, Models and Book of Pook) and I got bored at the very start. Do you know which parts are the most essential? I really feel like it's how it works in our relationships like you said in the first 3 sentences, but is it really worth anything if at the end I'm mostly the one who reaches out? I did need that remark about being needy, thanks.

Well they kind of do. First of all, from seeing your reaction, you are oneitis-positive to this girl. Otherwise you would've shrugged it off and enjoyed the abundance of women that probably was there. Secondly, I think you waited too long to make your move and you were being risky, which led mr. "lower value than you" to getting her. Since I'm looking for a job (and a job from a special kind - I'll spare the details but basically I'll be very distant from home in a non-major village-like environment where I'm almost certain I won't find a gym) and it's going to be that way for at least 6 months once I've started, I don't even know how to start since I can't really get to commit to it even if I wanted to. I know it sounds like …

I absolutely despise physical activity. I can't seem to find good guides on how to start from scratch, but I really can't see myself making a life-long commitment to sports. I remember hating it for as long as I can remember and even though I did start to jog lately I can't seem to really like it. I am satisfied when I'm done, but it's always a temporary thing in my mind. Should I look for an alternative to lifting? My social circle is pretty weak so I would need something that doesn't require b…

First of all, if she made contact with you even after that it means she most probably still had interest in you at that point. But regardless, your first message was kinda needy in my eyes. You were making unnecessary conversation about something that shouldn't have been your concern, since you should view yourself as the opportunity. If she missed it you don't need to tell her so, treat it like no biggy. You actually ended the conversation quite well with that invite, but it should've come only…

Should social activity be an excuse to pay big amounts of money for education I don't even know if necessary for the path I'm taking? Is the world really that helpless in finding solutions for this kind of issues that seem so common nowadays?

He told me in those words "It's hard for me to stay exclusive, but I love her and it's a decision I've made, it's just hard for me sometimes to deal with the consequences".

That could work if they weren't exclusive from the beginning. To remind you, they live together, he can't just throw monogamy out of the equation after they've been exclusive for about 18 months.

Well he is not the type of guy to bitch, but he both consistently shows disdain and occasionally arrogant.

That's the funny thing though, when he is with her they don't look unhappy! He sent flowers on her birthday, she posted the image of it on FB giving the blabber about him being the best boyfriend in the world and what not. I can almost know for a fact their sex is still amazing and she's still madly in love with him, I'm just not sure how mutual it is. Good advice about marriage nonetheless, I'll make sure nothing like this happens. ♂

I obviously graduated from high-school, and college is (maybe) ahead of me, but not any time soon. I don't want to rely on it in order to start my social/sexual life again, it will pressure me into it when it doesn't necessary correlate with my future direction in life.

If I was to start a new hobby, I would need for it to go along with a possible job I will take (considering how much it will occupy me), and for it not to be something dangerous like motorcycles (because I just don't dig living on the edge when it can cost you your life). Would fraternities really be your primal solution in that kind of situation at your place?

All sorts of fraternities come in the form of either very religious or patriotic-oriented. You wouldn't find fraternities here the same way they are in the US.

I would recommend developing an artistic hobby. Learn how to play an instrument, get into depths of music, arts, films and literature. Go to IMDB/Rotten Tomatoes and watch the top movies, go to Last.fm and find out music similar to what you like, look for artists (sculptors/painters) that you like. Read fictional and non-fictional literature, both improving your social skills and widening your horizons and creative aspects of yours. Also, you didn't mention working out, so there's that. Learning…
